Novotel Paris Charles-de-Gaulle Airport

Das Novotel am Pariser Flughafen Charles-de-Gaulle (CDG) ist jetzt nichts besonderes. Aber es liegt quasi auf dem Flughafen und ist mit dem Terminalzug zu erreichen, was für die Auswahl entscheidend war. Es ist ausreichend gut ausgestattet für eine Nacht. Frühstück hätte es auch gegeben, aber da ich ja noch ein paar Lounges und Flüge habe wo ich verköstigt werde, habe ich darauf verzichtet. Das Hotel ist aber trotzdem nicht ganz leicht zu finden. Es gibt am Ausgang von Terminal 2 eine Hinweistafel wo man auch sein Ziel eingeben kann, hier war der Terminalzug NICHT aufgeführt, sondern nur kostenpflichtige Angebote wie Taxis (15 Euro). Zum Zug lauft man den auch ein ganzes Stückchen. Irritierend ist zudem noch, das es 2 Züge gibt, es gibt auch noch den Paris by Train, welcher in die Stadt fährt.

It's a great place between long connections. You can arrive at any terminal 1, 2 or 3 and easily, on an automatic train, you travel to terminal 3 where the hotel is. Its location is visible and well signposted. Check in and check out are very quick, comfortable rooms, Luiza restaurant is adequate and reasonably priced.

On arrival at CDG the Novotel hotel is not indicated. It's all the more embarrassing since there are two of them. My wife and I had to walk the endless corridors of the airport for 3/4 of an hour.Better signage is needed!

Very easy to reach from the airport by free shuttle train. Reception was a little weird, one desk with a beyond laidback young man.Room was nice, bed was very comfortable.The restaurant/ bar on the ground floor has a nice feel to it.

It was so hot that I couldn't sleep all night, with a day of work to follow.When I asked reception to turn down the heat, I was told it's impossible, so slept with the window open to the airport. A joy!The open bathroom in the room is also very 1* hotel.Too bad, because the location is very good.

Arrived at 11 PM- air condition system didn't work, they gave us a room with an open window facing terminal 3 parking lot, noise a night. cost ~$600 per night, till now, more than 2 weeks, no answer from the hotel

The hotel had the AC disabled. They said it wasn’t hot enough outside. It was the middle of May. We had to open the windows and ask for a fan. It was miserable . Very noisy with planes and the window open. Though it is right on the tram line it is very far from the Air France check in. I would have preferred to stay some where else and taken a taxi to the terminal to check in .

I was satisfied with my stay at this Novotel. The room was spacious and comfortable. The internet worked well. You can access the hotel from Roissypole without going outside which is important if it's raining!I was frustrated at check-in because when I booked the hotel (and in the email I received after checking in online) it clearly stated that check-in was from noon. In fact, this was a key factor in deciding to book this property. When I arrived, I was told the check-in was only from 14:00. I was told no rooms were available. I found this difficult to believe.I did check in online, but this didn't seem to matter. The key still wasn't ready and I had to repeat all the formalities when I arrived.

The room was clean and comfortable enough for a transit rest. The staff were polite and one of the girls from the breakfast team let me grab a complimentary cappuccino which was very nice of her.

Average cleanliness, the bathroom is in a deplorable state, the paint is falling apart, the water flow in the shower is not very good, the room was not worth its high price. The mattress of the fold-out sofa is very uncomfortable and in poor condition, that of the main bed is ok. Nice staff, good location. The value for money remains very disappointing.

Room was great and reception staff was friendly. The breakfast restaurant staff was not of fluent in English and seemed more rushed. Breakfast had a large selection to choose from. Great location for us as we were flying out the next afternoon.

The rooms are not big but enough to comfortably spend a night to catch early morning flights. They have free in room beverage for the guests. I paid for the breakfast. It was just ok. I would it give it 3 star. Other than that, our room was clean and so was the hotel. Internet worked fine with reasonable speed. The best part was the free train ride to the airport. The train station is located on the lobby floor. Just walk out through the back door and there it is. Within a few minutes your at the airport. Hotel staff very nice and treated us well. If I travel overnight to Paris again, I will stay here again.

Great hotel for our night before our flight. Very kid friendly and nice staff. The restaurant is also good and sometimes there is a live band at the bar. Rooms are clean and comfortable and can easily accommodate a pack and play.

Our room was spacious enough and nicely styled with a large bed and comfortable bedding. This was a bonus because the only way to keep warm in the room was to get into the bed!. The room was simply too cold. Despite my best efforts it was impossible to get any warm air to flow from the vents. Regardless of the temperature set on the control, cold air was circulated. I was informed that by Reception that the building is old and this is a known problem and I was advised to turn the fan off. No portable heater was offered. Not good enough.

Excellent ratio price/quality if you need to sleep next to the airport. Personnel highly friendly. Dinner was simple but each dish was excellent. Our suite is more than expected, considering the price. Highly recommended.

We stayed two nights here. Restaurant is good with affordable prices and tasty dishes. Breakfast was also worth it. Rooms are clean ,huge with perfect beds. Bathrooms has a shower and a bath tube. Full air-condition.Free wifiStaff is polite and smiley.A special thanks also to the shuttle driver who left us exactly in the place that our check in was 14/12/2022 06:20. (We were the only customers so he didn't disturb others for that choice).We will come back.

Though the location is convenient as it directly connects to the terminal 3, one of the staff there was unhelpful, rude, inattentive, and lazy.We arrived at 9am after an international flight. The lobby didn't have a typical appearance of a hotel lobby, and we weren't sure where we were. Instead of greeting us with a "hello how can I help you", we were ignored. We were the only ones there so obviously she was not busy!I then asked if this is where we check-in, and the staff member (long brown hair working the morning of Oct 9) rolled her eyes and said yes but that we could not check-in until noon. She gave us no further instructions on where we could wait or what our options were. I then asked if we could pay for early check-in (which she did not offer initially). She then checked and said they were no rooms ready and to return at noon.We waited in a seating area for 3 hours, which was pretty comfortable as we were on a couch. In these 3 hours we saw many people check-out so I assume the hotel management is really disorganized or their cleaning staff is very slow. We returned exactly at noon and she said "we will let you know when the room is ready" and literally disappeared into another room. After 30 minutes, I was so frustrated seeing other people who arrived later get their rooms before us so I went to another staff member (red haired female) and told her that we have been waiting. She said to us "were you not told you could pay for early check-in?" and "did she (the brown haired woman who disappeared) not tell you what time your room would be ready??". The red haired woman simply made a phone call and suddenly a room became ready. So thank you to the red haired woman but the brown haired woman should be fired. Hotels are a service industry so providing good service should be a core value.The room itself was fine but felt a bit old/dingy. The AC did not work! Fortunately we could open the window and were traveling in the fall. But it still felt warm in the room.There are other hotels in the vicinity in which you could easily reach terminal 3 so I would not return to this one.

This hotel had great staff, excellent accommodation and a very friendly environment. We were lucky to catch a live band in the bar area one evening. The restaurant was acommodating and breakfast was abundant.

This hotel is in a convenient location for flying out of Paris, but there were some issues with my stay. First, I had to stay at a long line for check-in with one of the receptionists (she was taking a long time talking to each person), while the other receptionist was checking in new customers who were coming to the hotel without paying attention to the rest of us in the line. When I complained, she did not seem to care and her behavior was very rude. Second, the room did not have any hand soap. Really??? This is a basic thing to do for making rooms ready.

It's nice that it's connected to the airport terminal. Kid friendly... We just stayed here one night to make our flight the following day after making the trip up from southern France on the TVG

You pay through the nose for the convenience of being close to the airport. The room was clean. Only one small bottle of water provided for two guests. When we arrived there was no running water in the hotel because of maintenance issues. Once it came back on, there was no hot water for hours. The mattress has a plastic covering under the sheet, so if you're a hot sleeper, you will awake in wet sheets. There was no minibar. Coffee in the room was instant in paper cups. And only one envelope per person. I would expect more for the exorbitant price.

NOT RECOMMENDED DURING SUMMER!!- As many of the reviewers point out, the AC either doesn’t work or it works poorly.- Very basic hotel, apparently recently renovated but it doesn’t show. Especially the bathroom with toilet seems like they forgot to finish it.- Staff seems so overworked they need to get more staff asap. Expect lines in check in.+ Perfect location for a morning flight. It took me 10 minutes from my room door (using quick check out) to the check in line at terminal 2D.

The Hotel was fine, except they took a 200 Euro deposit from me and never refunded me. I did not damage to the room, but they are refusing to refund the deposit. They won't respond to emails or phone calls. So now the room has cost me more than double what I agreed to pay. It seems their policy is to just ignore customers after they take money from them that they had no right to. I wouldn't risk staying here again.

It was not my first visit in this nicely designed SWISS First Class Lounge in Zurich. The service is very friendly and courteous. I liked the food in their à la carte restaurant, although vegetarian options are very limited. Drinks, especially the cocktails were delicious! I enjoyed my stay and I‘m looking forward to relax in this lounge again!

This is a very convenient stop over near the airport. Easy to connect to the airport with the train CDGVAL.Rooms are comfortable.However their is an obvious lack of personnel resulting in a lack of service such as long queue for check in, no answer on the phone for room service.Go to the hotel for the convenient spot before a flight. Don’t expect more.

Great hotel for before/after flight. Direct access from Roissypole train station. Use CDGval tram to connect with the terminals. Breakfast was very good. Staff were friendly and spoke excellent English.

Hotel located in the Terminal 3. Entrance to the Hotel directly from the train station. To move from one terminal to the other you can use the train available for free. Highly recommended for people who have to board early morning flights.Room: spacious, clean and comfortable beds.

Clean and quiet with all of the amenities one needs for an overnight. Easy access: right out the door of terminal three — two minute walk and you’re there. Friendly staff as well.Only downside (might not be if you like a warm room): I couldn’t get the temp below about 23 in the room. Apparently (as most Novotels) they are on heating only during this month, and the window can’t be opened. So, if you’re a warm sleeper like me, the warm room doesn’t contribute to restful sleep.

Amazing Hotel, super comfortable and easy to reach. The dinner at the restaurant was really good! Nice looking lounge and bar, comfortable and clean room. Great for families and business.
