Since the lounge was newly renovated, I have just used it. The service and quality are excellent, worth it.

I used it on April 17, 2024. It was a little crowded, but if you searched around the lounge, there were some places where there wasn't anyone around.Halal meals were also available.I was hoping for something like Thai yellow curry, but it wasn't there. That was very disappointing.I would like to see more dishes that are popular in Japan.Overall I was very satisfied.

As a frequent flyer and a Gold member of both Thai Airways and Singapore Airlines, flying business class, I recently visited the Thai Airways Lounge at Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi Airport. My experience was mixed, with some aspects exceeding expectations while others fell short. The lounge itself appeared spacious but was overcrowded during my visit, and the staff seemed overwhelmed. While the entrance process for business class passengers was relatively straightforward, the professionalism and English proficiency of the staff left much to be desired, particularly at the entrance.Upon entering, I found the first bar to be disappointing, with subpar service and a lack of courtesy from the bartender. However, the second bar, located next to the first-class lounge area, provided a better experience. The food quality was inconsistent, with some dishes such as the freshly made pad kra pao being enjoyable, while others like the beef stroganoff were undercooked and served cold.Additionally, the wine selection was limited to a single poor quality red and white, which did not meet the standards expected in a business class lounge.Furthermore, the seats in the lounge were dirty and marked, detracting from the overall ambiance and comfort of the space. In conclusion, while there were aspects of the Thai Airways Lounge that exceeded expectations, particularly the second bar, the overall experience was disappointing. I hope this feedback will be taken constructively to improve the overall guest experience.

Star Alliance airport lounge. The location is very difficult to find. The showers are crowded, so if you want to use them, it's best to make a reservation as soon as you enter the lounge. To make a reservation, you do not receive a ticket or a reservation number; just tell the staff that you would like to use the shower and they will let you know when it is your turn. But since you don't know if it's actually in the order you reserved, it's better to ask occasionally if it's still your turn.

Facing D4 gate, good for travellers boarding from D1-D4. Pleasant and quiet. No complaints on food choices. Shower rooms available.

Not big food but quite good taste. So sorry that many of them are not hot enough. Overall not bad but could have been better.

The star alliance business class lounge in Bangkok airport looks and feels more like an all you can eat buffet at peak hour than a business class lounge. The food is ok, nothing outstanding but not bad, but there is nothing peaceful or exclusive about it, the only thing you get is free food. Everytime I have been there it is absolutely packed, there is no place to sit, and because of this there is mostly one chair next to each other instead of nooks. It feels more like a bus station with free food than a business class lounge.

This place has really downgraded throughout COVID.Thai opened a new section for the royal silk lounge but people are sleeping on the entrance floor. Just lack of class all around.Additionally, the Thai Spa is also closed “for renovation” so flying on TG metal (aka on true Thai ticket) doesn’t make much value these days.

Really a 4.5 star but round up. We were initially impressed by the decor. They had the plants (artificial) on many of the walls that added to the tropics ambiance yet the other finishes were contemporary giving you a comforting modern reassurance of the facility. Lost half a star because it just didn't feel very substantial in the food offering. They did have an omelet station, but they didn't have a noodle station that we seen in there other lounges. Service was still good. Facility clean.

This lounge is okay for a short moment. I would not call it luxurious. Enough food to not be starving, including fresh fruits and hot soup.

This is the biggest lounge directly after Thai Airways check-in area for business and first. Nice new interior since a while. 2 separate bars with staf where you order and pick-up drinks. WiFi but not any western food. Toilet just outside. I don't see any showerrooms. Okay lounge but not more.

Disappointing. Indeed, considering this is the global hub airport of the airline, this lounge is surprisingly disappointing.Good points: plenty of seats, fast wifi albeit with complex password (why?), mostly friendly staff.Let down mainly by the food and drink: limited selection, some of which ran out early, only veggie hot meal option was soup, relatively unhealthy food choices, limited juice and alcohol choices, and the only tea available is Liptons!!!)Also, all the plants are plastic (why?!) and the loos were closed in my section.Oh well.

Disappointing experience, women at the front desks doesn‘t know anything. They are just installed there. Very dissatisfied of their Flagship lounge in Bangkok…Zero Service, Zero Complimentary, Zero anything. I would love to go back in time were Lounges weren‘t that bad and were you felt appreciated as a guest. Go anywhere, but not in this lounge…

Inspite of pandemic, this lounge keep open for those travellers at Suvarnabhumi and serve the Thai Airways and Star Alliance member. Not that big but sufficient enough for a layover before boarding. The food serve is not that much this time but it is considerate due to limited guest also. As always staff are always been attentive and hospitable.

New Royal Orchid Prestige Lounge that I was told about at check-in is much nicer than the old one. Loads of space. Reasonably good food (please look at EK BKK lounge for comparison), bar and shower. Was relatively empty on my arrival but some staff standing around chatting and leaning on the food areas didn't give a positive image. Otherwise, staff performance was good.Overall, a nice update but food selection could always improve.
