There was a small bug corpse on the bed. However, I changed the room right away. Still, I feel uncomfortable so I don't think I'll go again.Breakfast wasn’t bad!
So close to the airport - just what we needed for our morning flight. The stay was pleasant, and after staying in Airbnbs for a week it was nice to stay in a clean hotel. The continental breakfast was AMAZING! The cappuccino machine was put to good use, and there was a selection of meats, cheeses, and crepes that made our last morning in Paris very enjoyable!
An ibis styles. No surprises. In the standard of the brand.Main theme based on Star Wars.Comfy room. Quiet even if in the middle of CDG airport.Well located and easy access from each terminal with the every 4min shuttle running from 5AM to midnight
Having read a few lukewarm reviews, I was a little apprehensive, but my experience was pretty much flawless. This is a really good airport hotel. The rooms are on the small side, but quite cheerful, shower only ofc, no bath.Breakfast starts suitably early, 5am, for those catching flights, and the restaurant for dinner was surprisingly good for an airport hotel.Location is two minutes from the CVGVAL automated terminal train, though worth noting if you arrive in Paris in the middle of the night, this does not run 1-4am, instead there is a bus.
Read til the end!Hotel room was pretty basic, and there were water stains on the ceiling by the door, with water dripping all night. I think they sent someone to fix it after we left. Other than the water damage the room was clean and comfortable. The reason I still give a good review is this: I dropped my wedding ring down the sink drain, and didn’t have time to wait for maintenance to come get it due to an upcoming flight. So I messaged the hotel, and the manager got someone to find my ring for me! He held it in the hotel safe until I returned to Paris a few days later. I was very impressed and so grateful for their kindness and help with losing something so special to me.
We checked into the Ibis Styles at CDG and our first room had a faulty drain. The water wouldn't go down because the plug wouldn't budge. When we informed the reception, they told us someone would come to fix it, but we waited for 1.5 hours with no response. By then, it was already late evening. When we returned to the reception to follow up, they seemed surprised and offered us a new room instead. However, we had to retrieve our luggage from the old room and then wait in the long queue again. When we asked if there was any compensation for the inconvenience, they just told us to write an email, and there was not even an apology. In the new room, the air conditioning didn't work, and the windows wouldn't open, despite it being at least 25 degrees Celsius in the room with stuffy air. When we complained about this to the reception, they simply said that's how it is here. They could heat the room, but there was no air conditioning. They offered us a small fan instead. Unbelievable! When we asked if we could have some ventilation, they eventually gave us a room with windows. And still, no apology. This was the most unpleasant hotel experience I've had in a long time. The rooms were all clean at least, although some were already quite worn out. It's okay for one night, but it's still a shame considering the price.
Two stars is not a good rate, but it is well deserved given the price paid (190 euros for one night !). So what's wrong ?Room was not heated and thermostat was inactive. No problem for the night: I like it when room is cold, but I had to work in the morning and I was frozen in front of my laptop ! So perhaps a good shower would bring me some warm ? NO ! Water was not warm enough, it was at a temperature where you can wash, but you really don't want to stay more than strictly required under the shower and then you are cold ! . There is a hot limiter that is marked to be 50 deg C but it was more like 40 deg or less. What's more ? Room is pretty small and you can hear all sorts of noises from neighboring rooms. For diner, in all you can eat starter : not too bad, but avoid fish ! It's bad quality frozen fish. Finally, no gym: first time I see a hotel of this price range with no gym: I should have paid attention. Won't come back in here
You get what you pay for with this hotel - it is has more of a hostel style to the rooms. You get one pillow per bed, and it’s barely a pillow at all. The room smelled of cigarette smoke which wasn’t ideal. The bathroom was nice and breakfast was great overall. Also great location as it is 20m from the terminal three train shuttle if that’s important. Overall, affordable and breakfast included but don’t expect a great room or bed or pillow.
Had 14 hours before the next flight. The hotel was very practical for a break. Not far from the airport. Free shuttle service. Easy to find. The downside for my stay was the dust in the room. From the ceiling, the wall and the place where you can't see directly when you come in like under the bed and in the lamp.
They are okay. A little pricey they keep jacking the prices up every day I stayed there for one day the next day they tried to charge me more than the first night I stayed there besides I left my children cloths there and checked when I came back asking for them. Not sure what they did with it. Even the manager didn’t know whether they through it away or they kept it or what they did with it. If a guest left something in my hotel’s room at least I would have some knowledge about where it is. So I call this un organization and in consideration as they really don’t care what happened to the customers they come back or not. But definitely I am not going back ever again as the person as the front desk were very helpful got me bunk bed for my infant and helped me a little but the cleaning crew and the people in charge are not at all. As if I leave something it’s gone. I don’t know what to say I am really disappointed.
Location is great. Some food and bar available late. Good breakfast.Room had no working ventilation.Staff is friendly and available. They can store luggage in a safe place. Not easy to drive toBut easy from terminal 2
Stayed here after we couldn’t find any hotel with rooms after our flight. Super nice staff. Very comfortable beds and down comforters and cold ac. Late check out was nice.
Clean, quiet, good food. However from Gard Leon in Paris I spent $80 on a taxi only to be left at the wrong ibis hotel. I spent another $25 on a taxi being taken to the correct one. The address is not clear. Be advised that if you are traveling to the one near the airport you need to know exactly where you are going. This is some thing I wrote to the manager about but did not get a satisfactory response
A 100m walk from the Terminal 3 train shuttle exit. Arrived late but met by a cheery young lady at the front desk. She saw we were tired and mentioned that the bar (next to the front desk) was open until midnight. A large IPA went down rather nicely. Room was well laid out and clean with a very comfy bed, great shower, and good quality towels. Breakfast at 5:30am meant no rush before our early flight. Nice breakfast. A variety of proteins (eggs, sausage, cold meats), pastries, fruit salad, and a good range of coffees started our day very nicely. Thank you. We'll be back.
Front Desk has discrimination. I was asked to wait one hour as I entered at 10 am. and as check in is after 2 pm and told me she will come to me to get room. i could see many came and checking in. Lost patience and approached the desk at 12.45 pm and she said they all have reservations as I did not have. Then I told her I too have. Then she asked another lady to book me the room. Restaurant staff are polite and good. Never has such bad experience of front desk. Prefer never enter this hotel again.
Good enough for what we needed. Nothing bad, just a little basic. Knocked a star off due to no coffee in room, basic toiletries. Staff was friendly and very helpful. (Breakfast included but we had to hurry to airport in the morning. Would’ve been nice to just have coffee in the room)
The hotel is great clean near the airport it took me some time to get to the hotel from the airport due to figuring out how to get there 🙃 but none the less pleasant. The room is clean and modern for the price. Definitely will stay here again besides they have a nice breakfast it is 10 euros
We will not stay here again! The only reason we chose to stay here is it’s convenience to the airport given our early morning flight. However the hotel does not deserve its 3 star rating - they are operating like a motel at best.Staff: Most of the staff at front desk/reception were not well trained, no proper instructions on how to contact reception, how to get around, or even proper greeting as we checked in and checked out. They were generally rude and not helpful.Room: Upon check in, the air conditioner was not working we had to walk down to the desk to ask for support as there we tried every number on the phone to ask for help to no avail (reiterating staff did not share the right number). To make things worse, sheets had lots of hair and dust on it. We had to ask housekeeping to change it and she even found out that the sheets were torn!Overall: Horrible service, basic hotel provisions are not even done properly. I’ve had better, cleaner stays at a motel than at ibis. We will not be back unless management does an overhaul on proper training for all staff!
Lovely modern room with curved walls. The staff is very friendly and the hotel is immaculate. The bed as quite hard with a 3cm foam mattress over a firm foundation and a waterproof mattress cover. It was great for a first night in France. I just wanted to go to bed after flying here from Vancouver, and had a great nap. Tomorrow I’ll continue in to Paris after the free breakfast. You have to keep the key card in in the light switch by the door in order to turn on the lights. There is a shuttle train to take you to the hotel at terminal 3 from terminal 2 where most planes land.
