Burapa

I heard it was a cheap local food restaurant, so I made a reservation and visited by sending a Facebook message about a week before my visit.Overall, it was delicious, but there were no pictures on the menu and the menu was varied, so it might be difficult to order if you don't study it in advance. The servers can communicate in English, so you can order by asking questions. There are a variety of alcoholic beverages and signature cocktails, so it's great to order a variety of things and enjoy them with food.Bamboo cocktail recommended! It's slightly pleasantly sweet and clean, so it's good to drink before food. For your information, we really like spices, so we enjoyed everything, but if you can’t eat spices, we don’t recommend it…There are subtle spices in all the food~,~

Michelin Big Gourmand store. It's located at the back of Soi 11, so the customers are mainly Westerners staying nearby. The specialty is eastern Thai cuisine, but I ordered the southern massaman curry. It seems that it contains durian, but it didn't have that smell and had a unique flavor that was different from the usual massaman and was delicious. The interior of the store is inspired by a luxury train.

The place is very beautiful and characteristic! We were very curious since we had seen it in the Michelin guide but unfortunately it turned out to be a disappointment. We ordered a crab and calamari tempura and so far it was good... then we got wagyu and a curry soup with pumpkin and crab which turned out to be ok but nothing special. I took the only dessert that didn't have coconut milk but I still didn't like it and left it on the plate. Two espressos, the worst I drank of the whole trip to Thailand. I also found the waitress quite pushy and it seemed like she was in a hurry for us to leave, once the second course had finished she wanted to bring us the bill! When the bill arrived it was the last bad surprise! For the price we paid (3531 bath) definitely not up to par.

From the outside, it seems to be an ordinary restaurant. Stepping inside the restaurant, the open bar appears right in front of you. The stairs lead to the second floor which is decorated like a luxurious train compartment. What an Instagramable decor! The Thai cuisine here is served at its perfection. There are lots of curry menu. The favours are authentic! Spicy dishes are hot but addictive!Cocktails are made with generous serving of alcohol! Balanced flavours of each ingredients. Must try all their signature cocktails…We have tried quite a few and none of them disappointed us!Highly recommended!

It’s serves eastern thai cuisine and has the old railway style ambience.Staff is super welcoming and courteous. If you need to order only one dish, just order the white fish with beetle leaves appetizer. It was truly out of this worldDidn’t really like the curries much but the railway rice was mushroom pancake was good.Their drink menu also looked quite interesting

Very nice atmosphere, we sat on the 2nd floor they decorated it like we are on a bogey. The food tastes good and the creative menu. Variety of drinks and gins. The price is like what you pay to a Thai restaurant in the US.

The upscale train car aesthetic is beautiful and cozy. There are attentive servers on each floor and the food arrives quickly. The soft shell crab with green mango salad was phenomenal. The railway fried rice was interesting but was sweeter than we were expecting. The coconut milk curry with crab meat was very light with a delicate yet fragrant coconut taste. We appreciated the amount of crab meat included. It is on the slightly pricier side but is also understandable given the Bib Gourmand award.

The coconut ice cream with sticky rice from Thai Niyom was truly an extraordinary treat! It completely stole the show and left us in awe. We indulged in it during the afternoon and were so captivated by its heavenly taste that we returned for more, even squeezing in a third serving just before heading to the airport. The combination of the creamy coconut ice cream, perfectly paired with the aromatic sticky rice and complemented by the delightful crunch of peanuts on top, was an absolute delight. It was an experience that left an indelible impression, and I find myself constantly yearning for it, even now that I'm back in my home country. This, without a doubt, is the best ice cream I have ever had in my life.Besides the ice cream, the overall food quality is satisfactory, the fried crispy omelette dish, however, didn't quite hit the mark for us. It felt overly greasy and the portion size was a bit overwhelming. The pad thai wrapped in omelette provided a unique twist with a subtle tomato flavour.

Excellent coffee, breakfast and bread. I had breakfast a couple of times here and it was consistently good. Flat white was very good, both coffee quality and thin foam with art. Croissant with scrambled eggs very good and also their avocado toast. Recommended

A beautiful place set in a train setting. The food is great, and the service is impeccable. We were made to feel absolutely welcome, and everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful. The restaurant was set in the middle of a pretty chic area, filled with bars and nightlife. The place is also quite conveniently reachable, a short 10 minute walk from the Nana BTS station.

Visited Bangkok last week and found this lovely restaurant at Nana area. Love the decor and the food was really really delicious. The pumpkin crab red curry was the highlight of our meal whilst the other dishes was very good too. Service was also good overall and we find that the pricing was reasonable too. Made table reservations on FB and they were very responsive. Will come back again!

Hands down one of the best Thai eateries in the area. They specialise in Eastern and Northeastern Thai cuisine. Went there on 3 different occasions in the last 3 weeks :- once with family, once to get take away and the last time with my wife. The rawang curry and the railway style rice with krill cakes were stand outs for me along with the Massaman curry with the unripened durian. The lump crab meat is also exquisitely done. My wife loved the fried rice and the soup dishes as well.Nice array of cocktails on offer as well. Restaurant decor is fantastic and the first floor seating gave me some Murder in the Orient Express like vibes with its train like seating. Great service from the manager and the waiting crew. As a bonus, got to say hello to the very humble owner on our last day. Can’t wait to be back again.

The food was good but was very disappointed by the service. We were sitting outside and I had to go in time to time when I needed something and the most annoying part was that they didn’t even tell us when the last order was. Again! I had to go inside then I found out that the kitchen and the bar were already closed! I just thought a restaurant with a service charge should have a better quality of service.
Delicious food! Amazing atmosphere for a date or dinner with friends. It’s very speak easy vibes with a train theme upstairs! Beautiful cocktails too! Thoroughly recommend!

Such a hidden gem tucked away from a busy streets nearby… we are very lucky to find this little restaurant!!The menu is extensive with all come with photos, which makes easier for you to decide as there are many interesting dishes that I’m sure you would wonder what would order..We ordered prawn and pork lemongrass skewers, som tam with soft shell crab, pomelo salad and snow pea shoots with crispy pork… all were so delicious. They all are so flavorsome without being salty or overkilling each ingredients natural flavour. The place is pretty small, rather visiting friends house. We wanted to sit outside but decided to not as there was a machinery noise from the building next door..Staff was polite and accommodating our request.I would recommend this place if you would like to enjoy modern Thai food in a nice cost setting.I would definitely go back 🙂
