How can this restaurant not have been rewarded by Michelin? One of my best food experiences of 2023. Congrats to the team, and thank you for your love and words. The wine selection is just fantastic. See you in Corsica guys.
Intimate and small neighborhood eatery focusing on seasonal and local plates. The table seating is designed very open and rustic, there is one large table in the room which is surrounded by other minimalist tables. The dinner consists of a short and a long tasting option with 3- or 6-courses (plus amuse). Fish and meat options are really good here, the salad was too simple for my taste. The dessert wasn’t outstanding, it was a rhubarb compote with, vanilla bean ice cream and spruce oil.I recommend the restaurant for the quality of the food, but I don’t recommend the short menu just for the price ratio (large menu is only 200 krona ~ 17€ more). The drinks menu is very limited too, which isn’t automatically bad. But again, the price of wine by the glass is the same as the price of champagne by the glass, which may be unusual or unexpected. The wine was good though. It was 100% Chardonnay from Burgundy, with notes of green apple and peach. Very fruity and easy to drink.
Small venue, food very good, but not knock your socks off Great for a Michelin star restaurant. That could be because the menu is a set seasonal Menu and this was not my favorite cycle. Most plates were served in small bowls, made it hard to use long silverware to eat. Seats all 90° not that comfortable for sitting. Great wines.
Absolutely brilliant. A small intimate restaurant with stunning food, excellent wine and charming staff. We came here for my husband’s 30th and it was an incredibly special occasion. The tasting menu with paired wines was phenomenal. We will be back!
What can I say? It's easily the best restaurant I have been to. I went there with my wife, celebrating four years since we met. We both agreed that this is the best food we have had. The chefs made me eat, and love, things I usually don't eat (or even stay away from).
Smell modish and attractive restaurant with a strong attention to detail. The tasting menu was well balanced; starting ending strong. Wine pairings were well done, all in all I enjoyed this stop.
This is the best tasting menu I have ever had. And I've been to over 30 countries. I am not joking. It wasn't even that each course was memorable, it was each ingredient in each course! Each ingredient somehow stood out individually yet seamlessly worked with the other ingredients to create a feast unlike any other I have had. The staff - there were two gentlemen, equally wonderful, kind and informative - the chef and anyone else that has a hand in this place...a major kudos! This is a must. And highly recommend the wine pairing. It's worth it!
The food was great and the staff was friendly. I really liked the wine selection and the way it was presented. Allergies were addressed well. The only improvement I would like to see is the pacing between the courses, it should be a bit slower
We ate the gastronomic menu with wine pairing. We had a bit of difficulty to connect with the waiters. E.g. telling about the wines without looking at both my partner and me. In some cultures it is okay to ignore the woman and even a sign of respect but for us it is opposite. When we arrived I told I booked a table at 20:30 and got asked.. am I supposed to guess your name. This was a bit rude to our liking. We also felt that it was a bit pushy marketing to get us to drink a glass of champagne before the meal.. yes we had something to celebrate but I am not necessarily up to drinking if it does not add to the experience.. champagne does not equal experience. Yes the drink was tasty but it felt not necessary for us in context of the whole experience. All of this was well compensated with what we came for: good food and good wine.
