Das Strandvägen 1 liegt wie der Name vlt. schon vermuten lässt direkt am Wasser (ok, es ist noch eine breite Straße mit recht viel Verkehr dazwischen, was aber dem Ambiente nicht viel ab tut). Eigentlich reserviere ich keine Restaurants, welche zuerst noch meine KK-Daten wollen, aber hier habe ich eine Ausnahme gemacht. Ich hatte zuerst 3 Austern mit Champagne und dann als Hauptgang Baked Trout (Gebackene Forelle). Diese hatte ich mir etwas anders vorgestellt, war aber trotzdem sehr gut. Zum Nachtisch gab es wieder Creme Bruele (allerdings nicht ganz so gut wie in Ralfs Kök). Etwas zu viel Chiki Micki für meinen Geschmack aber gut.
Great service, yummy cocktails and delicious food. All that comes with higher price, but with the view on water/city and all above factors, well worth the visit.
The interior is beautiful, with stylish details and a fantastic view that makes the whole experience even better. It's a very cozy and relaxed atmosphere in there.The food was delicious! The dish that I tried was carefully prepared and tasted good. However, the prices are a bit higher than in other restaurants, but I think it's worth it considering the high quality of the food and the nice environment.The service was also impressive. The staff were very nice and accommodating, and they were quick to take orders and serve the food. I really felt well taken care of the whole lunch.Another thing I really appreciated was that there is the option to sit both inside and outside. It is perfect depending on the weather and what kind of experience you are looking for.If you are looking for a place with good food, excellent service and a wonderful atmosphere, I can highly recommend visiting this restaurant.
Great food, service, and atmosphere. My family ate Brunch from noon- 21:00, they didn’t seem bothered; kept service coming.
The service and atmosphere were really good.But the food didn't leaved up to the price, the grilled tuna fish were tasteless and the sauce was really salty.The Roe as started with the butter and roasted bread was really nice.
My husband had the baked chicken which came with salad and fries. I had the fried eggplant with salad and burrata cheese. He said his was delicious., although the chicken could be more tender. Mine was very good. The fried eggplant was not greasy at all. The cheese had almost no taste. My portion was just right for lunch. My husband had a much larger portion. All in all, a good dining experience.
My husband and I were walking by and decided to pop in for a drink and a quick bite as we waited for our ferry. The champagne selection was wonderful as were the bread sticks, vegetables and hummus. Our plans ended up changing and we couldn’t go on our trip so we ended up coming back for dinner because we loved it so much. We sat at the bar and our bartenders were great. The food was super fresh. It was an unexpected treat!

Prices do not match quality. Place is clean and nice and food is clean. But basic and drinks are expensive and served as cheap drink style. People are nice but overall is not that good.
Honestly i can’t understand how you can’t love this place. Super nice local staff, excellent food (yes you should know how to eat chicken :-)). Very nice inside but also outside.I never had such a nice white asparagus as here - the sauce ist just brilliant.We got the recommendation for this Restaurant from our Swedish friend and we only can confirm.PS. Yesterday I had the most amazing experience. There was this tall blonde young waitress who gave incredible service and was super nice. Definitely recommend since the food was great aswell.
The food was only ok this time. I ordered a stake and was not even asked how I wanted it cooked 😒. But the place is nice and enjoyed it in the past.
Very lively place with a lot going on and worth trying. It's a place where you can meet people or just enjoy your dinner. The food is good and contemporary with some compelling cocktail offers on the side. It's certainly worth a visit when in the area.
Just next door to the theater Dramaten, on one of Stockholms more exclusive addresses, you will find restaurant Strandvägen 1 where you can enjoy a drink and a bite to eat.They have a great menu were each person in your company will find someting to enjoy. I tried the toast skagen and a grilled Entrecote, it was perfectly made to my liking.The prices are a bit steep but it is what to expect.Overall, well made food and a great place to sit outside, enjoy a drink and some food.
Cozy place with wonderful outside seating, even on a rainy summer day! The food is simply fantastic. Great presentation, awesome taste. It's not the cheapest option, but it felt like it was worth it and you have to keep in mind that this is Sweden after all.
