I ordered it after seeing Xiaohongshu’s guide, but the experience was very, very bad. This hotel was newly built this year, and the smell has not dissipated at all (as of the end of July 2024). The smell was strong after entering the room. Twenty minutes later, I started to feel like vomiting. I woke up every morning and my throat was very dry, full of phlegm, and even I thought it was COVID-19, so I went to get a test result and realized it was a problem with the room; my friend who lived with me also had the same symptoms.Even though I booked a "superior two-single-bed room" with an added price, I didn't see anything "superior" about it. The bed was pitifully small, probably only about 1m-1.2m, and I was afraid of falling if I fell asleep.
We are staying at room 1403.Very clean, nice hotel. Nice clean comfortable bed.Water provided in fridge.Very clean & awesome swimming 🏊♀️ pool.Good gym to create some space for scrumptious breakfast.Breakfast is a must. Lots of options.Very friendly helpful staff.Thankyou Mercure, will recommend
This is an honest and realistic review of using this hotel three times until this summer.1,Lobby employeesCompared to the spacious lobby, this hotel has a rather narrow and complicated entranceHowever, I was not particularly uncomfortable with the concierge staff's efforts to always move diligently and not miss the inconvenience of guests. This hotel has a front desk located inside, so it's a great structure for guests who value guest friendry...I thinkThe staff at the front desk...Anna with an accurate hotelier atmosphere, Cherry who is very bright and kind and brightens the mind, Kate who listens to and takes care of the guests seriously,Ing welcomes guests quietly and kindly...and so onThey're friendly steps like a family.2. Room ConditionThe room may not have a modern window style, but in the same hotel, it is large and generous.Especially, the rooms on the city view are so soundproof.3. BathroomThe bathroom is spacious and cleanThe environmental-friendly amanity such as wood toothbrush was impressive, and the water pressure and water quality, which are chronic problems of Bangkok hotels, were also satisfactory. However, the shower drain is a bit noisy, but it's not a problem because it's a bathroom4. DisadvantagesThe entrance to the hotel is rather complicated, so it can be a little uncomfortable if you take a car. There were only two elevators in the lobby, so it was less than other hotels, but I didn't feel any inconvenienceThe bathroom in the lobby is small.Additional facilities such as bars and lounges seem to be lacking. There won't be any hotel that doesn't have its drawbacks.Nevertheless, the reason I strongly recommend this hotel is that all the staff are friendly and I feel little inconvenience in staying. To be honest, if you don't care about the lack of auxiliary facilities, I think it's a four-star hotel as much as a five-star hotel.
My 2nr time to stay here.Had 4 nights with lounge service acses too.Foods in longue more good than in breakfast area.Som + Dom + Kwang very helpful. They are dury in Longue area 16th FL.And little guy at consierge, he was helping me find taxi by using meter.Shumai dim sum always good taste + cocktail at 16th FL always teasing😍Night life at Sukhumvit soi 11 always happy and hotel near to BTS nana / MRT line too👍
Stayed there for 2 night.Definitely 5 star for location.Friendly staff.Amazing breakfast.Great clean rooms.Great pool with cabanas.Lively restaurant/bar in the hotel lobby.Cannot find anything to change.Overall, great choice amazing experience.5 star for the superbly amazing staff.
Great location. Much bars, food and drinks around. Room good quality and spacious. Music goes on till 2am outside. I could here it on floor 9, but it's wasn't that loud you can't sleep. Food from restaurant can be better. Ordered several things and found the price/quality standard too low. Even send back 1 item at the pool. Completely burned noodles. Pool area nice and big. Enough chairs. Small advice for the staff behind the pool bar; walk once an hour around to pick up empty glasses etc and ask if customer wants to order more. Not only the hotel will earn more, also you. Customers will tip for good service. Overall, nice hotel. Will stay here again.
Good location to all the night life spots, and a good variety of pubs, sports bars. Nice 24/7 street food market a couple blocks down. Everything you need is a 5 min walk to, 7-11, money exchange, pharmacy, bars, bars, bars... Even though lots was going on, the rooms were quiet. Nice and friendly staff. Pool was great also!
I was first time here.Room conditions very nice. And location so convenient too.All of hotel crew were so kind and smile every moments.Thank you so much ~~Mercure hotel
First off the location is perfect. Right next to two great restaurants. Breakfast was at one of these restaurants and it's solid. The gym is small, but well maintained, quiet and airconditioned well. The swimming pool is alright, nothing special. The rooms were spacious, the bed and pillows are great. The airconditioning smelled fresh and well maintained. The room was a bit dark and the showers didn't get really hot. It's not a 5 star luxury hotel, but everything was just good. Would stay again for the price.
I am here and I just found that They close the gym at 7pm. This is an absolute No No. I already don’t want to be here. You don’t dictate when someone goes to the gym. The whole world goes to the gym after 7pm. And the pool closed at 7pm too, get me outta here…
Great hotel. Went there with wife and daughter. Room was very spacious, modern and the bed was very comfortable. The swimming pool area is great. Lots of places to sit in the shade. My daughter loves the swimming pool.We got the included breakfast each morning. Good selection for a wide variety of tastes. We'll use this hotel the next time we're in Bangkok.
Stayed here as a couple of night stop over when travelling from UK down to the islands. Absolutely brilliant hotel for families, had a massive room with bunk beds for the kids (10 & 13), staff were lovely & location-wise it’s pretty much at the heart of the action on Sukhumvit road! Some great restaurants nearby & the on-site restaurant ’Lily-Fu’s’ was awesome for poolside snacks & drinks.A little bit eye opening for the kids seeing some of the bars with the ladies etc but nothing to put anyone off & was actually great to see everything getting busy again. We’d absolutely stay here again.
Very good hotel. Perfect location of Bangkok. Many shopping mall around. Manager Mr Tae and his team was very cordial and helpful. Room service was excellent. Breakfast was good. We enjoyed staying in the hotel.
Beautifully appointed hotel in a great spot but a little on the expensive side for what it was. Staff were surprisingly (for Thai culture) rude and unaccommodating. When we requested their help getting a taxi on check out they told us to just use the grab app then when the taxi arrived and was a small car (we needed a regular sized one to accomodate our luggage) they reprimanded us saying “miss you need to get order big car this is no good”.
Situated on the famous party soi 11 and that did not disappoint. From the time I walked into the mercure i was greeted with smiling faces and great service.I stayed in the King suite and for the price it was well worth it, the suite is spacious clean, the room did not have an iron but was brought up right away when asked and is an amazing iron.Breakfast is provided by the restaurant downstairs and was a small but nice mixture.
Good clean spacious hotel ( we took the family room - 2 adults + 2 kids ) and great value too!Hotel:Good location. Situated along Soi 11 which is famous for its bars and working girls, but not the seedy shady type, but still safe and suitable for families in our opinion. There's motorbike taxis at the door and easy to use Grab to get around. If you have your own car, parking is easy and ample, and free as well if you're staying there.Staff:Very helpful and friendly. Speaks excellent English and always ready to help. 5 ⭐Room:Our room was big enough for the 4 of us and our piles of luggage. And the bathroom, is like another room by itself.Cleaniness:Room was very clean and so was the bathroom. Have zero complaints about cleaniness.Comfort:The beds were SUPER comfortable and the pillows were fabulous!!! So good that my wife asked if they had spares so she could buy one to take home, sadly there weren't any 🙁 mind you, my wife is extremely picky and fussy about her pillows, and the hotel's pillows were in her opinion, worth buying!Value:In our opinion, and comparing with other hotels in Bangkok, Mercure Soi 11 prices are very well priced, we paid about $110 per night for the 4 of us, and compared to other hotels where the room is smaller, we would be paying $140 or more. Such excellent value!!Final verdict:Be it traveling alone for the nightlife (ahem!) or with a family, I would really recommend this hotel. We would definitely stay again!!
Great hotel, quirky design with lots of colour and a warm welcoming vibe. It’s quite a narrow building and possibly not one to stay in long term but amazing location to go and explore Bangkok with beautiful pool and bar area.
