Back in Sweden und Zeit für was neues. Das Bistro Bestick hat Google angezeigt weil es in der Nähe meines Hotels liegt (und eine gute Bewertung hat). Einen Tisch für 1 Person reserviert (Leute die nach mir ohne Reservierung gekommen sind, mussten sich mit ein Platz draußen begnügen). Die Ausstattung sieht nach Bistro aus, etwas abgelebt und nicht fancy. Hier hatte ich drei verschiedene Gerichte. Als Starter gab es Lachs mit pickeled Zwiebeln, Sour-Cream und Kartoffeln. Als Hauptgang gab es Kabeljau. Der Nachtisch war ein Creme-Brulee mit Parmesan und Trüffel (es hätte etwas mehr Parmesan sein können als salziger Konrast). Alles im allem aber sehr gut.
We tried the meatballs and the steak, both of them were truly amazing . The best meatballs we had in Stockholm , would surely recommend trying out this place once when visiting the city.
Booked a table days ago for my daughters birthday. We got a table by the door tucked behind the extinguisher and the front door. The coat hook was broken. No lighting. I’ve asked to change table it was not possible, but staff made arrangements for other clients. So we left after the mains.
The best Swedish meatballs in Stockholm by far.But the place needs new decoration and nee catalogue because we want to order more plates but the menu was so small..3 plates...
We got there 20 minutes before lunch time was over. There were no problems, we got a table directly in the outdoor dining area and received a brilliant reception from the staff. Heard how good they were with English to other guests, with recommendations and the like.We were offered fantastically good bread when we sat down. We ate today's cod, which was also very good.A little minus the bathroom, which is in the "homey" direction rather than the tacky one.
Delicious food.Need to book in advance as it is quite a small restaurant and was busy every night.All of the food and drinks we had were delicious. The service was also very good.The portions were not too big so it was fairly easy to eat 2 or 3 courses. There were also options on the menu to have a set meal which was slightly better value than the standard menu.They have an outdoor seating area as well as indoor which had heating and blankets.My colleagues and I had a lovely evening here.
The staffs welcomed me warmly and were so kind.It was the first swedish restaurant during this trip.So it was a little challenge to me, but the Homemade meatballs are really good and it comes with tasty mashed potato and pickled cucumber.It's bit pricey, but worthy to try.
Best meal we had in Sweden! We always look at restaurant reviews before trying and many end up falling short of expectations but this place is really exceptional and exceeded our expectations. First, the food was phenomenal. We had the lunch special fish and chicken and both were delicious. We got a very generous pour of wine. We prices are amazing for the value you get. And best of all, the staff is so friendly and attentive. The owner himself is super nice and funny and his daughter also works at the restaurant. It’s a true family owned business. At the end I left my sunglasses at the table and she walked almost two blocks to find me to give them to me. Such nice people, amazing food, and exceptional service!
Great food and service. Friendly waitress. Pleasant ambiance. The four of us had the set menu with scallops as entree, flank steak for main and creme brûlée for desert and all dishes were delicious. Portions are not massive but the taste makes up for it. Overall, a delightful experience and I would highly recommend.
A must if you are in Stockholm.Michelin star level cuisine and the best wait staff in Scandinavia! Superbly creative cocktails and appetizers... down to the bread and butter.Don't think twice, just make the reservation!
Great taste, friendly service, average portions. Worth making a trip for.Came here with a friend late and they kindly managed to sit us.Everything we had tasted delicious, from the bread to the mashed potatoes that came with the meatballs dish.Would come again.
Wonderful family run Bistro that is obviously a local favorite as it was full at lunch time. Best salmon I have ever had! They provide you with a small salad and bread with your meal. Fast, friendly service.
We had a lot of lovely dinners during our 10 day visit to Stockholm, but this was our favorite place out of all of them. It was exquisite. The wine, the cocktails, the appetizers, the main course, dessert, everything was exceptional. The music and atmosphere were also lovely. I highly recommend this place for a romantic dinner for two.
Tucked down a side street and away from any main road means you’d never stumble across this restaurant but there’s a reason why it was packed on the evening we visited and I’d recommend securing a booking if you want to try it out.The staff were very welcoming from the moment we arrived. It’s not a large place, so the tables are close together and expect to feel a little cramped at times, but that adds to the atmosphere. Coat hangers are available near the door which helps save on space around the table area.The menu isn’t massive but clearly helps ensure each of the present dishes are cooked wonderfully. As soon as we’d ordered some homemade rye bread was brought - opinion was divided on the taste but it was a nice touch and very well presented still. The starter of scallops was served surprisingly fast, almost too fast, but was super tasty with wonderful presentation and flavours. The homemade meatballs were equally as impressive - great portion size and super tasty with incredible flavours, particularly with the pickled cucumber side.There’s a nice range of drinks available on the menu, with a large selection of the wines provided by the glass as well as bottle. The small choice of cocktails are served well, strong and flavoursome.Overall the value is good for a central Stockholm restaurant given the quality of the food. There’s a wonderful atmosphere, great staff and the super tasty food; I’d happily return and highly recommend.
