Din Tai Fung 鼎泰豐 at Pavilion KL

The best Bao I have ever eaten, it manages to have juice inside without breaking the dough.Perfect

their main course r pretty good. ordered the red oil dried wonton noodle and fried shallots shrimp noodle. both are deliciousthe highlight to me (must order) is their yam dumplings ... xiao loong bao is good but in terms of special I'd still say their yam/taro dumpling. a very fine Chinese dessert

Excellent dumplings. We have eaten at this restaurant chain in other cities and the food is always great, and it was also fantastic in Kuala lumpur. We like you can see they make the dumplings, there are Windows around the Kitchen. High quality and value for money.

Have been to a few of the chains locations in Asia, first visit here in KL. Always quite consistently good quality and well prepared. We enjoyed a late lunch here. My only concern is the prices are a bit high compared to similar options but you know you’ll get a good meal.

Din Tai Fung never disappoint when it comes to the quality of their food. I've had countless meals here and their food always deliver. If you're here for the 1st time then you must try their egg fried rice with prawn & pork chop, tan tan noodles, red oil dumplings and of course the star of the show, soup dumplings. Highly recommended!

Been here a few times over the years but oddly enough, I never thought to take any pic for my review - until recently when I popped by with the munchkins. My niece reminded everyone that we should not touch the food until I have taken photos 😅 Anyway, we like the food here and the service have always been efficient. The only grouse we have is that we usually have to queue for awhile as it is quite a popular place especially during peak hours. The kids also like them and they always order the same dish no matter which outlet in which country they visited (so consistent). Me? I am working my way steadily through their menu. My favourite so far is their pickled cucumber (pic no available). They have just the right balance of cool and heat.
Amazing as always. This review does have one contingency though. Only eat dumplings. I find everything else not to be worth it as it is not the best, but the dumplings are the best, especially the soup dumplings and they get 5 stars every day of the week.

What I really love about Din Tai Fung is how consistently good it is in terms of service and the overall quality of the food they serve. It doesn't matter which branch you decide to dine in today, you can be sure that you'll have a good tasting meal and quick and polite service. It is probably my fourth time here, but I will for sure come again the next time I am in KL.P.S. It can get very busy here during peak hours, so don't be surprised if asked to wait for 10-15 minutes until your table is ready.

With the price they are charging , was expecting better food quality.Basically taste was flat, we couldn’t taste the sweetness of meat and prawn in both xiao Loong bao and wanton.Noodle was a disaster, the sauce mixture was rough and dry and the taste was weird, no where near the taste we had in Taiwan

Nothing taste good for all the food we ordered.. tasteless, which meaning that can’t even taste the flavors of the meat, vege itself..Suitable for those who look for clean food.. as the good point is - totally not greasy at all.. but it definitely not worth that price 🤷🏻‍♀️

This casual family chain restaurant famous of the juicy Xiao Long bao steamed pork dumplings, so good we had 10 pieces x 2 sharing between four of us, also signature sweet sour noodle soup, prawn fried rice, rice wine chicken, wash down with the refreshing lemongrass honey drinks

Had the shrimp fried rice (RM25++) and smoked salmon yee sang (RM68++). They were very generous with the shrimps, and the rice portion was huge enough to fill me up. Very tasty food, crunchy shrimps, fragrant rice and cooked just right.Smoked salmon yee sang used fresh ingredients - very refreshing.
