The Tokyo Ramen

Ordered Sakana Ramen (only available on weekends). And Asakusa Cassata. The broth was flavorful, really nice for a fish broth type ramen.

Tucked in the little corner....very unassuming place...shares the same popular cheese cake as the "sister" restaurant next door... if the ramen is to your liking...the other dishes in the menu is even better against harsh critics...I give this place high kudos....they have improved on service and what nots since last I came by.Proper made "chasu", thick and clear broth options. and the list goes on...

Personally feel that the ramen are over rated.Black garlic version was alright. Noodles weren't as springy or form to the bite as I would have expected. Chicken thigh was moist and done right.Truffle version was a bit of a let down. Other than the breasts that was sous vide just right, the broth was disappointing. The Gyoza was the best dish we had. Crispy on the outside, with a tasty filling, with a good dipping vinegar sauce.Nice ambience to the place. However, with only 2 tables for dinner, service was a bit poor. At times, there weren't any staff around.

Went to this place yesterday for dinner with sort of high expectations as it is the same company as Tokyo Restaurant. There were only four tables when we came; all of them had gotten their food, but the service was very slow. There were two servers and they always went to the kitchen doing don't know what. We had to call them so many times then only they took our order. We had the original ramen, and it was very salty. I thought only to my taste, but my friend also tasted the same. We didn't finish the ramen and straightway called the waiter to pay. Before leaving, I told the waiter to inform the kitchen that the ramen was salty. His response was only- oh~We had a good experience at the Tokyo Restaurant but not here.

We had a 16 month old baby with us so decided on dining at the Tokyo Ramen instead of pop-up Yakiniku place (too smokey and crowded).Clean, spacious, food was served quickly (the place only started to fill up after we finished dinner). Everything we ordered was tasty and fresh.1) TRUFFLE SHIO RAMEN with extra ajitama (the egg was not as flavourful as I would have liked — my only complaint this meal)2) ORIGINAL SHOYU RAMEN (noodles were springy, broth was acceptable but prefer the truffle shio broth)3) KANI CREAM CROQUETTE (did not eat this as I’m allergic but my family enjoyed it all)4) FOIE GRAS MENCHI KATSU (perfectly fried, crispy breadcrumb coating, generous portion or foie gras, loved it!)5) CHICKEN GYOZA (came with the crispy lattice / “wings” — most places do not serve it this way so I was impressed! Filling was delicious and not too salty)6) CHICKEN KARAAGE (big chunky juicy pieces, but could give more Mayo dip next time)7) they serve KIRIN beer if you request it, not on menu.Would recommend a visit! ESP if you love Japanese tapas and more simple ramen (not overly thick broths and loaded toppings).

Overall 3/5: VERY bad service, good Ramen.Service 0/5: The tall specky waiter seems to hate customers walking in. We noticed we are not the only victim, other customers are having same experience too. Super black face and bad attitude throughout. Unfortunately, there was no other waiter around, the other Malay waitress kept her head down, refused to look at any customers.Food 5/5: We love the Ramen here, the broth is so good until we finished it all (not much to begin with anyway). The chicken was tender and the Ramen is just nice texture.Price & Portion 3/5: Small portion compared to the price we pay (RM 27 each bowl). The green tea is the cheapest, RM 3 per pax.Value for money or not? Big NO for the service and bad attitude. With the unwelcome attitude from the staff, I am not surprised if this restaurant is not doing well.

Awesome cheesecake and umami fries from here !Went to this place yesterday for lunch with my friend. They are located beside The Tokyo Restaurant and can order from The Tokyo Restaurant. The Ramen here is chicken broth which taste not bad and a bit like kampung chicken soup taste. Must try their umami fries, it’s so good ! The cheesecake is ordered from The Tokyo Restaurant, which is as good as usual. The grill chicken (I forgotten the full name) which is under The Tokyo Restaurant Lunch Menu, comes with miso soup, is not recommended.Food: 8/10Price: 7/10Service and Environment: 8/10Parking: 7/10 (multi level paying parking is available at lot10)

I feel like this halal ramen restaurant is underrated. Their ramens were so good where the chicken were sourced from ayam kampung. Love their thick flavorful broth. Portion is generous that suits their pricing. They also serve non-alcoholic wines. Space is beautiful with attentive staffs.

Good ambiance, and authentic tasting tasting Japanese Ramen. Service was slow as the restaurant seemed understaffed. But it may be due to current economic conditions. Fries are dusted with a great Japanese flavouring. The sushi rolls were really well prepared as well.

Pork free ramen restaurant, overshadowed by main kitchen The Tokyo Restaurant, I like the fact that it is quiet. The ramen and a broth is very unique considering it is not the typical tonkotsu broth, I will recommend trying the truffle shoyu ramen with a tinge of lemon zest, very unique, best of all you can order the same dessert from Tokyo restaurant minus the hassle of queue. Great service

One of the many restaurants located in Isetan lot 10. This restaurant is very unassuming compared to the other restaurants on level 4. It has a very limited food selection, and unfortunately during CNY weekend, all but the ramen was available. Kudos for having a vegetarian option!! The broth of my vegetarian ramen was wholesome and flavorful. I added extra toppings, which complemented the ramen perfectly. The service was helpful and attentive.
