Das letzte mal als ich im Prai Raya war, war noch deutlich vor Corona. Das Lokal liegt auch in der Soi8 recht weit hinten, was sich in der Anzahl der Farangs bemerkbar macht. Die Einrichtung ist recht witzig und erinnert eher an einen Flohmarkt als an ein Restaurant. Bestellt hatte ich ein Curry, einen Mango-Salat mit crispy squid und noch ein Gemüse mit Ei. Zum trinken (oder besser löffeln) gab es einen Mango-Smoothie. Das Curry war super lecker und sehr spicy. Der Mango-Salat hat auch sehr viel Cilly (definitiv nicht Farang-Style), das Gemüse war gut (aber eigentlich zu viel). Alles in allem sehr lecker und definitiv wieder einen Besuch wert.
Overall, this is a restaurant where the ingredients are fresh and well-balanced.
I went there with high expectations because it's Michelin, but the braised pork was a bit salty and I'm not sure if it's that good.
Ordering food through the app is very slow. Skip an order, we have been waiting for food from this restaurant for more than 1 hour before we can eat it. The store doesn't take responsibility at all. The rider went to inform about the food order and said that he was making it and waiting a moment, but actually he hadn't made it yet. Finally, after waiting for nearly an hour, he told the rider who had just been waiting: "Forgot to press send order" just shows that the employee who said that is lying or giving random answers only. Send a message to the rider who has to wait for food. and will not order from this restaurant again
The food is delicious but a bit too salty in some menus. The service staff are good and polite, but sometimes they don't focus on what we order.
The crab with yellow curry sauce is our favorite. Our go-to Sunday lunch restaurant. The staff is very welcoming.
Today I had lunch here with friends. The place looks like it was built in a colonial style. (Although Thailand never was colonized) The decor is traditional Thai. The food is southern Thai, tasty and reasonably priced. The service attentive and patient.I got a kick out of visiting the bathroom. The door lock is worth a visit to the loo.
Well priced, well portioned and most importantly abundant selection and very delicious! Friendly staffs in a very cozy urban setting
This is a Phuket restaurant. All the food is delicious and the staff are very friendly. The inside of the restaurant is large, so there are a lot of tables, but there are not that many customers.
One of the best authentic southern thai cuisine. The service staff is awesome. You cant go wrong with the food here. Just order their recommendation or just point out random picture you’ll get the same quality of awesomeness

We were there for lunch, and I have to say it is one of the best authentic Thai food I had in a while... Every dish had its own thing it's hard to discribe you will have to try it to get what I mean..
The restaurant is near our hotel. This time brought our friends to come try. Realised it has Michelin 2018 sticker.Food is nice, portion not too big but we're still very full.
Spot on Crabmeat curry with excellent service. Lots of tables for those without reservations. Will highly recommend this. Always my first few dinner stops after arriving in Bangkok
Lunch at my favourite restaurant for Southern Thai food in Bangkok. Prai Raya Bangkok is an off-shoot of the famous Raya Restaurant in Phuket Town.Consistently yummy dishes.1) Chunks of fresh mud crab in Thai yellow curry accompanied by some steamed vermicelli.2) Braised Pork Belly.3) Deep fried Seabass with mango salad.4) Dessert of mango sticky rice.
Too spicy for me but everything is alright about southern thai food, they keep using fresh turmeric not turmeric powder to cooking every dishes, vibe is classic thai period, and better if you visit at night time.
Authentic southern Thai food. Absolutely gorgeous and generous portions, each dish was made from fresh Thai ingredients and the aroma was superb.The decor was simply beautiful and staff were attentive at all times. Highly recommend Prai Rayav if you want Michelin experience at a reasonable price 😍
Delicious Southern Thai foods. A branch from a famous restaurant in Phuket "Raya". Foods are mostly not too spicy. True souterner may the food a bit milded, and the taste is very well balanced (Klom Klom).
