Dosa King

Das Dosa King ist ein rein vegetarisches (Indisches) Restaurant. Die Dosa’s (Pfannkuchen) standen nach diversen TikTok’s eh auf meiner ToDo-Liste. Das Restaurant war kurz nach 18:00 recht gut besucht. Nichts spektakuläres, eine recht einfache Einrichtung ohne großartige Dekoration. Bestellt habe ich eine Käse-Butter-Dosa und ein Curry mit Cottage-Käse. Man wird nach dem Space-Level gefragt und ich sagte Spicy und es wurde nochmals nachgefragt ob wirklich ‘hot’ (und ich ‘JA’ wirklich hot 😉 ). Es kam dann das Dosa und das Curry (was nicht wirklich zu spicy war). Das Dosa war knusprig und sehr fluffig (leicht, ok, ein wenig fettig aufgrund des Butters). Das ganze hat gut zum Curry gepasst und war ein guter Naan-Ersatz. Von den Soßen die zum Dosa gereicht wurden habe ich nur wenig benötigt. Alles in allem sehr lecker und ein recht guter Inder. Ach ja, war glaube ich das erste Restaurant bei dem Pfeffer und Salz auf dem Tisch standen.

Food was delicious I would suggest trying the samosa, masala tea, mint and mango LasiI’m not sure what all the smaller curry type vegetable dishes and bread names are but it was incredible

Vegetarian -YesAlcohal - NoLove - Pudina LassiThey have from Dosas to North Indian menu. Every dish tastes excellent, drinks are awesome too. If you are tired of hot weather then try Pudina Lassi, it is extremely refreshing. No alcohol served which is excellent for families.We have been seeing same people for decates and they are all just like family. Very loveable and smiling. Hearing them speak in broken Hindi makes your day.Friends love visiting here on their trips to Thailand.Put it in your bucket list.

Had a masala Dosa and Aloo Gobi (hopefully the spelling is right 😂 which is potatoes & cauliflowers with gravy).Food tasted great but it would have been better if they had some chilli or spicy puree for the Dosa. Other indian restaurants I've been to always provide those.The staff told me it doesn't come with the Dosa and didn't ask if I would like to have some. Service would be much better if they take more initiatives in asking.Pricing is slightly high in my opinion for the two dishes I ordered.Spoke with the boss during billing and he was a friendly guy. They provided two small packets which I'm unsure what is that. He took time out to explain it's to clear the bad breath after your meal consumption. Overall,a great experience of Indian food here in Bangkok!

Having dined here on multiple occasions, this is surely the best Indian Restaurant in Bangkok. Delicious fresh food made whole heartedly with an honest desire to feed the people. Staff very polite and attentive, and Anandbhai being an amazing and good hearted person. Going here is a must on any trip to Bangkok. Enjoy like I did.

Very good place specially for the vegetarians. It is not very easy to find the vegetarian restaurants in Bangkok. This place is like a heaven for vegetarian people. Very lavish ambience and cooperative staffs. Situated in the main road of Nana chawl. Here you will find many Indian restaurants but trust me this is one of the best. Taste as well as quantity of food. Do visit if you are nearby. Incredible India 😊 Incredible Taste .
