It's my first time to dine at Butter & Spice East Coast with my two other friends and it was so far the best Indian Restaurant that i've tried here in SG. The foods are so good and tasty, I really love the butter chicken partnered with cheese naan 💗. The staff are very attentive to our needs and very accomodating. The place is clean and ambiance is very welcoming. Definitely recommeded 💗
Really really good Indian food! Excellent use of spices, dishes are flavourful without being overly spicy, including the vegetarian dishes! Highly recommend the succulent juicy chicken tikka and lamb masala. Their masala chai tea is perfect too! Not too sweet and the spices are not too overpowering. My go-to-place for Indian food. 👍🏻💯
Located along East Coast Road, this Indian restaurant whipped up authentic North Indian cuisine. Through their recommendations, we tried out a number of dishes. Butter chicken was smooth and juicy, with the curry creamy and thick in texture, perfect with garlic butter naan which was flavourful.Chicken Do Pyaza was spicy to my liking while chicken tikka was grilled till chewy and smoky in taste. Mango lassi was milky and sweet while coconut water was clear and refreshing.
Excellent north Indian cuisine in Katong. The place is just a little tucked away from the main stretch of Katong restaurants, so you'll miss it unless specifically looking for it. Definitely worth it, though!Palak paneer was excellent. Service very quick, professional and friendly.
Looking for a perfect Indian restaurant in the east? Try Butter & Spice which comes recommended by me. Although I am a Chinese - I had travelled to India for Naan, hosted Diwali parties for corporates and learned about Indian food from an ex-chef with Raffles Hotel.Check out these dishes :- Fish masala- Gobi Manchurian- Chicken Kurma- Biryani Rice Veg or with chicken- Tandoori prawns- Holy butter chickenThanks to service staff Souren who provided his expert recommendation and service. We were in good hands. Will definitely come again!
This could be my new favorite Indian place.. great food and excellent service. Had the popular holy butter chicken and mutton biryani, which are great if you want the usual fare. Also had the vegetable jalfrezi, and enjoyed the smoky flavor of charred veg amid all those herbs and spices. But the real star for me was the prawn chatpata. Its not something I would usually order but thanks to the staff who recommended it, this made the whole meal shine. Good spice, not sweet, not red lol, big prawns swimming in lots of tasty gravy. Had to order extra naan just to finish it off. The folks running the place were very friendly and helpful that day. Even gave us free dessert after that big meal. For a Sunday lunch the place wasnt busy at all.
Came across this place courtesy Google maps. A bit off the beaten track - the decor is very modest and carries almost a tier 2 city in India local restaurant vibe. I think it works cause the food is absolutely spot on. We ordered butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, palak panneer, butter naans, draught beer. The spices and flavours were amazing. The service was fantastic as well, very friendly and objective, got us cut onions and chillies. The meal was very reasonable as well. This has becomes my new goto Indian restaurant on the east! The chef is apparently from Orissa and runs a great kitchen. Must visit place!
SO GOOD! Way better than overpriced Zaffron in the area. Been back a couple of times. Don't be tricked by the lack of dine-in customers. They have non-stop delivery orders. Dine-in tastes better of course so head down if u want fresh piping hot everything! Our go-to place for yummy Indian cuisine in the East!
