Das Niyom war der Grund warum ich ins Swan2 bin (da es recht früh schließt). Das Lokal ist ganz am Ende der Soi4 und laut Google recht gut. Ich hab dann Crispy Duck mit Holy Basil und Bitter Melon zur Beilage genommen. Die Ente hatte ich leider in mittlerer Größe bestellt, daher war es recht viel (zu viel für frisiertes). Die Ente war mir eigentlich zu stark frittiert, das war stellenweiße einfach zu trocken. Sehr gut gewürzt, aber halt trocken. Da war es gut, das an dem Gemüse etwas Soße war und in Kombination war es dann recht gut. Aber alles in allem sicherlich keine Wiederholung wert.
What a little gem! Stayed opposite here last year but never stepped in, this year found it on random google map searching and stepped in.Old school genuine Thai eatery. No fancy cutlery, decorations or uniforms, just superb flavours. Frequented mainly by locals as far as I could tell.Great family atmosphere, grandkids and grandparents would be hanging out during the day.Had the Duck stir fry and came back for the deep friend duck, very yummy, flavourful, well cooked!Prices are unbelievable cheap, I can see paying triple their prices for the same dish in a fancy restaurant.
Anyone who likes the ambience of street restaurants and is not afraid of broken English will definitely be rewarded with very nice service and good Thai or Chinese food, a recommendation
I miss the duck stew at this restaurant very much. It was over 20 years ago. Grandmother worked in a tobacco factory. is bought very often I rarely have the opportunity to go now. Because around that area, the traffic jam is so bad that we have to order Robinhood to be impressed ❤️ It's good, delicious 🤤
Best value and quality Thai food on Soi 4. Feel confident that you are getting a great meal at a great price at this family run establishment at the top of soi 4. Large varied menu (all Thai specialties & some Chinese). Large Leo 60thb!! They treat you like family. If your looking for something like this, then you've found it!
Great little restaurant at the end of Sukhumvit Soi 4, on the edge of Benjakitti Forest Park.Good, authentic food at a local price.Try the duck (~100 baht) or beef noodle soup (~50 baht)! Ice cold big beer bottles are ~60 baht
Old authentic Thai cuisine. Famous with duck. Love kao-lao-hang (no soup kao-lao) .
Food is so good here. Had the morning glory, deep fried tofu, and fried duck lips. They were all great, I prefer salt and pepper tofu but that is personal preference. Their food and prices are win. Highlight of Soi 4. You have to go all the way to the end of the Soi but so worth it.
First time eating at a local restaurant. Its a little dirty and hot because it's open air. But I came for good cheap food and that's what I got. Two plates and two sodas only 120 bhat. The food was good, just a little spicy which really gave the food a nice touch. As I cannot eat spicy food I did not have any problems eating two plates. The menu is pretty large. Although not too many drink options.sodas and iced coffee, dessert menu was ice cream and four other options.
