Honestly, it just feels normal, hahahaMaybe it's just not your tasteThe chicken doesn't really see into the meat, only the skin and "kremesan" taste of the spices
One of my favourite fried chicken for years. Few months ago I was using food delivery and kinda disappointed. So this time I came again to the restaurant.Lucky I came before lunch time, so we get the table while many already reserved .Just order 1 big portion of fried chicken and I suppose to add extra fried onions . That's enough to make me happy.
This restaurant is located near Lumpini Park in Bangkok. It is a Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurant and was also highly praised by Baek Jong-won when he visited it on Street Food Fighter.I tried to go there the day I returned from Krabi to Bangkok, but it was raining so heavily that I couldn't go out and had it delivered via Grab. Since it was delivered, the garlic flakes came separately packaged, so I was able to sprinkle some on my rice. All three dishes were insanely delicious, but the garlic flakes that came with Cai Yang were especially delicious as they were incredibly crunchy and fragrant. Also, eating fried pork belly with rice was a fantastic combination, and while eating the two foods might have made you feel a little greasy, the freshness of the corn somtam really made up for it. In general, if you order the wrong ssom tam, it may be a little spicy or too sour, but this restaurant's ssom tam had no such taste at all and was full of freshness. When you put it in your mouth with tomatoes and corn, it just explodes with freshness. As one of the most delicious restaurants in Bangkok, I recommend ordering rice or even buying it separately from a convenience store to eat together. It also seems to go quite well with beer, but I was very disappointed that I didn't buy beer when I ate it.- The second time, I visited a restaurant and ate with my friends. It was the same menu as the one I had delivered before, but it tasted even better when I came and ate it.- AdvantagesAll the food is so delicious. Even the price is cheap.- disadvantageI couldn't find any flaws.
Chicken breast is dry. It would have been better if they had sold just the legs and wings. Delicious for the price. If you eat it with the flakes on top, you will be impressed. It was very spicy, but it was delicious when eaten with chicken. The third photo is a receipt. You need that to get a discount at an affiliated massage shop, so those who are going to get a massage should take care of it.
First of all, the taste is of course impressive, especially the papaya salad. I wanted something cold, so I ordered a soda, but he said, “Is this what you want?” The staff who brought me Coca-Cola had great sense...👍 They also willingly allowed dogs to come in..!!
No regrets coming here and absolutely delicious fried chicken. While it was already fried and cook at the start of the day, pretty sure before serving, it was given another deep fried to give the chicken at final crisp upon serving. Accompany with lots of fried garlic, and the perfect company to rice. For rice, they recommend the sticky rice, but I just don't find the sticky rice with fried chicken a good marriage, but that's just me. Went with the simple plain white rice, and just taste heavenly in my mouth. Two type of dipping sauces provided. The lighter red colour sauce is the typical sweet Thai chilli, nothing wow, but ok. The darker sauce is definitely taste much better to go with the fried chicken, and also spicier. Also ordered the papaya salad which was really fresh and generously portioned.Despite the location by a small inner road, the place is generally kept clean and tidy. Staff were also nice, especially the chef frying the chicken, and nicely welcome you to take photos, videos and obviously proud of his fried chicken. Will visit again in early 2023 with family and will definitely come here again and to order more dishes to try. Can't wait.
One of the best meals I had in Thailand! The papaya salad and the fried chicken can’t be missed! I recommend everyone visiting bangkok to visit this family run joint. It had a very homey feel too.
A must try signature fried chicken. I really enjoy mouth-watering good smell. It’s tender meat but crispy skin. The topping ornament of fried garlic was so great when having with sticky rice. Fried chicken was totally not spicy suitable for kids or foreigners. For whom that strong for heavy spicy shall try Som tum and many kind of Esarn dishes there.
They have a comfortable, air conditioned unit just a few doors away from the original shop.Fried whole chicken gets brought to the table in under 3 minutes. This had to be par-cooked in the back and gone through a second dip in hot oil before being served. Meat still was succulent and pipping hot. Topped off with fried garlic and their sweet chilli sauce, you really can't stop. This fried chicken is more akin to the cantonese 炸子鸡 rather than the Thailand street style marinated, battered fried chicken pieces.
