Bangkok’78

Although I chose to dine for convenience because I was a tenant, I also ordered in-room dining several times. But I have to say that the taste was so good that I made a special trip to dine there. Ta Tou Pork Rice should be among the top three dishes I have eaten at different places in Bangkok several times, although the price is also among the top three. Tom Yum soup is rich but also milky and very recommended. It's a pity that there are too few choices of vegetables. I tried several drinks, but only Thai milk tasted better. It is recommended that the drinks could use a little more effort. But overall it’s a good restaurant and I highly recommend it to everyone.

A restaurant with a head chef He is a contestant on the latest Top Chef season that I secretly cheer for... Staying in the Sindhorn Midtown Lang Suan hotel... I secretly expected a lot more than this... Or maybe on the day I went for dinner, Chef Golf had already gone back. I don't know what the remaining chef's skills were able to do... There was no dish that impressed me at all...that is, it wasn't impressed until it was a surprise..The steamed eggs didn't have the perfect balance. I really expected it to smell delicious. Here, there's just the smell of fried garlic and vegetables sprinkled together...Ranjuan curry is normal...Eggplant salad looks the best... Simple sweets.I gave three stars because I had to give a rating based on price performance.... assuming the price was 35% lower, I could give 4 stars, but with this price range, expectations must be as high as 3 stars. Ask for a review. Honestly, I'm not exaggerating because I paid for my own food.

Came here for dinner one hour before closure. 30 minutes before closure, I'm eating my food and the waiter brings me the bill. I even confirmed the closing time to understand what was going on - never seen this happen before. He was being very polite but I found this practice very disturbing. Since I had to stop my dinner to take my card and make the payment (he had brought the card machine already), I am writing this review while I look at the food in my plate (see picture below).

Thai food that is pleasing to the eye The skill of Chef Golf Phakwalan Wechamon, a famous chef, who promotes ingredients selected from good sources. The atmosphere goes back to 1978.

It is also a breakfast restaurant in Sindon Midtown. We also used it for dinner in the evening. The food comes out quickly and is delicious.I also ordered room service, and it seemed like Bangkok 78 made it and brought it to me.Overall the food is deliciousMango smoothie was deliciousThe mango sticky rice at the breakfast restaurant is also very delicious. The menu of the day is served every day and it is delicious.Coffee is deliciousIf you ask for take-out coffee when leaving the breakfast restaurant, they will do it for you.You can order drinks when you sit down. You can order egg dishes from the breakfast restaurant, and the Egg Benedict is delicious. If you order an omelette, the portion size is very large.Avocado toast is just mediocreMany types of dim sumThere is a Korean food zone where you can eat bibimbap, kimchi, kimchi stew, and soybean paste soup.It is said that the chef of the snacks on the hotel rooftop is Korean. Maybe that’s why the quality of Korean food is good. This is a satisfactory restaurant.Padka Omushap was delicious.

Thai foods are great.Southern yellow curry is rich but may be a little bit too spicy for foreigners.Steamed eggs with seafood is huge and nice.I also recommend mango with sticky rice.

Excellent and authentic Thai food in a fancy retro atmosphere at the second floor of a 5 star hotel. Prices are quite steep but it is justified by the high quality of meals served here and the ambience. I like the fact that the chef did not tone down the flavours for our group of 12 (foreigners) as so often happens. Everybody loved the intense flavours, and I am glad having been able to show our guests what great Thai food should taste like.I further applaud the great service mentality of the staff who set up a well-balanced family style selection of dishes when I made the advance reservation.

One of most delicious meals ever! I have come here for years including when it was called treat, and the food remains the best. The food here tops Thai food we have had in other places and has great service staff who are friendly and caring. We really love the green curry, krapow, and chayote leaves. But everything is great.

Casual Thai restaurant serving a wide range of food from boat noodles to somtam. Great for quick and easy meal. We ordered boat noodle with pork individual dish and somtam. For big group, consider ordering pork/ beef soup served in hot pot.

Gutes authentisches Thai-Restaurant in einem Hotel, welches eine sehr gute Auswahl im mittlerem Preissegment anbietet.
