I visited this well-known Chinese restaurant for dinner with my younger friends. The staff was friendly and attentive, always making sure our teapots were filled and our requests were handled quickly. Their suggestions were excellent, leading us to discover some hidden menu treasures. The restaurant boasted a modern yet inviting decor, featuring soft lighting that fostered a warm ambiance. It provided the ideal backdrop for a laid-back dinner with friends, allowing us to unwind, enjoy our meal, and catch up.
It is a restaurant in the hotel. There is plenty of parking beneath the hotel and the building is staffed and serviced by an elevator.Entering the restaurant is like being lost in a Chinese restaurant.Menus will be in all languages. There are no pictures of the menu to view, making ordering a bit difficult. Because I don't know how the ingredients written on the menu are put together to look appetizing. But you can ask the staff so they can recommend the restaurant's most popular menu items. The food tastes good. There are a variety of menus to choose from. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere to eat. Suitable for coming with family. Or make an appointment to talk at work and sit and drink and eat food very well.Good service staff, cute and polite. The place is clean and nice to eat. There is a corner on the balcony roof where you can take beautiful photos with a view of Bangkok city. Beautiful and worth taking photosThe bathrooms were clean and the whole place was very spotless. The food tastes good.
Very modern and exclusive atmosphere. The service is sometimes a little aloof/cold but professional. The dim sum lunch menu is an absolute must-have for all fine dining and dim sum fans!
Peking duck itself was delicious but the hoisin sauce had a very strong fermented bean smell for our liking. Crispy pork was so-so. Atmosphere was chill and private. Staff was friendly and was service-minded.
The concierge at our hotel had been trying for a table at Nan Bei for 2 days without success. My husband & I decided to take a chance & sure enough the restaurant was empty! Why do they create unnecessary hype? We ordered the food, the starter turned out to be a cold dish. Nowhere on the menu did it say that all the starters were cold. The staff was kind enough to take it back. We then ordered gyozas which had the most beautiful crispy lace. However the gyozas had more wrapping than filling & that too had no taste. The beans were stringy & chewy, the vegetable noodles were good but everything was under seasoned. We had to keep adding soya sauce. The beef & the cucumber salad were delicious. The atmosphere was too dark & depressing. They provide reading lights everywhere, why but just turn up the dimmer a bit? The atmosphere will be warmer & less gloomy!
I went with my family to celebrate the moon festival, the foods were delicious! Tastes of foods are suitable for Chineses. We didn’t order in advanced for the Peking duck, but were lucky to get one on the day within 30 minutes, which was a surprise and lucky to have a chance to try it out, the duck was just as good as what I have heard before. The sweet and sour fish is great, very special and classic style of sweet sour👍 The staffs were very friendly, which they also prepared a birthday cake for me too. Very recommend for people that visit around this area of Bangkok or stay at the Rosewood Bangkok, have to try it out the restaurant!
Finally! A more traditional Peking duck in Bangkok! From our seats we also saw how the skilful chef roasted the duck and siu mei! Looks very nice!!!!! As a Hongkonger, I admit this restaurant serve one of the best siu Mei in Bangkok, very similar when comparing to Hong Kong! Also, the cold dishes are very nice as well. And the staff are very nice and always keep our tea cups full! HahaWill recommend to my friends who are staying in Bangkok that miss some of the Hong Kong or Chinese food so much!
Can’t Miss this if you are a Foodie. Authentic Chinese Dish with fantastic Chef team. Thank You Chef Geng and Chef Li. Your great dishes sooth my missing home heart.Peking Duck, is so good that it’s the one of the best that I eat out of China.Other dish’s also amazing and don’t forget dessert. Not over sweet but flavorful.用中文说就是,希望我有仨胃可以试更多菜。
Cuisine is from southern and northern china that’s where the name of the restaurant comes from nan bei which mean north and south respectively in Mandarin, very delicious and authentic. The view is breathtaking. Recommend the Peking Duck
Crispy pork belly is a must and should be reserved beforehand. Bbq pork is okay. Dim sum and other dishes are quite nice. Great atmosphere. Minimum spend for private rooms is quite high.
