Old German Beerhouse on 13

Das OGB on 13 ist das Tochterrestaurant des OGB on 11 in welchem ich letztes Jahr schon war. Eigentlich wollte ich damals schon die Schweinshaxe probieren als mir ein anderes Gericht dazwischen kam. Dieses mal also ein neuer Versuch. Ich habe dann auch nicht lange im Menü gesucht und gleich die Schweinshaxe genommen (mit Kraut und Kartoffelpüree). Das ganze hat mit einer deutschen Schweinshaxe nur wenig gemein, da diese frittiert wird (wie ich auch schon in Taiwan feststellen musste). Dazu gab es noch eine spicy-chilli-knoblauch Soße. Die Soße gibt es sonst immer zu Fisch hier, aber die passt auch Super zu der Haxe. Das Kraut ging, war jetzt nicht wirklich ein Sauerkraut, aber nicht schlecht (leider etwas kalt). Das Kartoffelpüree und die eigentliche Bratensoße waren auch nicht schlecht, habe ich aber nur kurz gekostet und eigentlich stehen lassen, da die Haxe so viel war 🙈 Dazu gab es noch ein dunkles Köster und zur Verdauung einen Fernet 🤭 Während des Essens hat es stark angefangen zu regnen, im Unterschied zum OGB on 11 hat diese Variante allerdings Glastüren, welche bei so einem Ereignis zugemacht werden können!

Ach ja, wenn Ihr auf einer Karte mal einen Bunderberg findet (ohne Bild) und denkt das wäre ein nur vertippter Underberg, dann lasst es. Das kann man nicht wirklich trinken, hat eher etwas von Lösungsmittel🤣

I had the Schnitzel. I had a really good Schnitzel. I recommand to try this if you get tired of Thai food.

It's a very nice place. I came here two days in a row. Great spot to grab a beer and some good German food. The atmosphere of this place is great and super cozy with fresh air, which makes it my favorite spot to go. They specialize in German beers and other German traditional dishes, so you can find a really great variety here. They also serve some Thai food too though, if you want something a bit more local. The prices are really good here too so you can really get good value for your money.

Fun spot with good food, a whiff of class and comfortable. Schnitzel was pretty damn good and a large meal. Decent beers, mainly Kombacher??I had the dark which was very good. Great for World Cup viewing. It's popular.Good, helpful, efficient staff.

It was raining cats and dogs in bangkok listening and I was getting a Manny Petty next-door and decided to go to the Old German beer house for a drink with a friend of mine that I haven’t connected with over the last few weeks as she was away in 🇫🇷 France !!So we decided to meet because I did not wanna ruin my nail polish to come here and I’ve never been here before and I was kind of have a little bit of a hankering for German food however I ended up ordering fries and potato Croquettes and the potato croquettes were amazing I would highly recommend those to be ordered as an appetizer with your beer while you’re waiting for your true actual German meal to arrive !!After sprinkling on an entire Tabasco sauce bottle on our french fries we were so happy sipping on the beer and also the margarita my friend ordered!!I will most definitely be coming back for some good old German food because I was really hankering for it however my eyes are bigger than my stomach at this point!!We ordered a bed way too many drinks but that’s the way happy hour flows here!!Will be back and I would highly recommend this place and the only reason I gave at the stars that it gave it is because service could use quite a bit of improvement!! 😁🥹And my dear dear friend came up in a yellow raincoat which I think she looked absolutely adorable in!

I visited Old German Beer House on Sukhumvit 13 for dinner. They have a very good menu with a mix of Thai, German and western dishes. The surroundings and decor was German and looked very authentic. I liked it very much. The waitress was quick to take my order and deliver my food. The food was delivered very quickly and was delicious. The only small downside to my visit was that the staff appeared be a little sad for some reason. Maybe it was the heat, over worked, a feeling of not being appreciated or a very strict boss. I am not sure. But they did not seem happy. I can recommend and I will return.

Nice German beer house. Variety of German dishes and beer. Happy hour also nice. There are both indoor and outdoor space. Open from 10AM till midnight. Located inside the Trendy plaza building on the first floor. Next to Miami Hotel on Sukhumvit13. I was really enjoy staying here. New renovated hotel with unique designed. Large room with an outdoor pool. Friendly staffs and affordable. It was really perfect for this trip both stay, good meals and the places to hang out around the hotel.
