This restaurant is the original famous Chicken Rice at Pratunam Bangkok. I have no doubt after taking both famous restaurants there. This is better for real.
Visited around 9 o'clock on 24/1/3. This shop is very famous for its pink khao man gai. You can sit down without lining up, order Khao Man Gai, and it will be served to you right away. It didn't look fancy, but the chicken, sauce, and rice were perfectly seasoned and very delicious. Restaurants with a good reputation may not be as good as expected, but this restaurant won't disappoint. It is about a 15-minute walk from BTS Chidlom Station, and there are many attractions nearby such as Erawan Temple, Central World, BigC, and Platinum Fashion Mall. There is also a restaurant that is famous for Midori's Khao Man Gai, so it's good to try and compare. Please come and visit us!
Awarded michelin stars for 4 years. . Good food, the dish is very simple yet satisfying. You have to line up, the place is always packed with tourists and locals alike . . Open air, no air-conditioning, expect to be blasted with heat.
Found this accidentally when I typed in Google “Breakfast in Pratunam”Turned out this place is one of the Michelin starred restaurant I visited in Bangkok. To be awarded Michelin star, the chicken is truly exceptional. The broth is so light yet so delicious, it captures the aromatic chicken very well. The chicken is good, although it looks pale and unappealing. It’s tender and juicy. I love how it goes really well with the broth, the aromatic rice, and the sauce. You really have to try with the sauce.I think the sauce’s savoury taste and its spiciness add depth to the flavour of the food. Must try!Oh and I went here circa brunch so it didn’t really packed. I don’t have to wait long, I got seated right away.P.S this place also sells pork. So yes, it’s non-halal.
i love the braised pork rice and chicken feet soup the best. the braised pork is so tender and flavorful with every bite. the rice is cooked perfectly, just the right moisture. we also tried the hainanese chicken and bitter gourd soup. high standard. ordered a second round for the chicken rice and braised pork rice. Michelin rated indeed.
Place that well known for its hainam chicken rice. They have 2 restaurant. The difference between them is their menu, in others branch their provide fried chicken but with no pork menu. Here in this restauran they only provide boiled egg and pork stew. The taste it self it thinks is quite good.
This is a wonderful place. Their chicken rice is delicious. The key is in the brownish sauce. The chicken is soft and clean. The rice is tasty. The sauce enhanced the flavour 100 times. Amazing combinations! The braised pork is pretty good, but you have to get the Hainan Chicken Rice as a staple here. They won the Michelin 1-Star awards multiple times btw!
