Good atmosphere, good tasting food There are many things to taste. Inside like a temple There is also a tent. Above, there is a Tibetan Buddha image to worship.
Just like another review, we were randomly walking by and decided to go in & OMG! The place is really nice. It’s quiet, great booths, friendly service and the dumplings were so so good. My wife’s hot pot was also really yummy. She kept mentioning how the ingredients were good quality, and there was some mystery vegetable in there that was creamy. I will definitely return here. And they had some really cool tents in the front like in Tibet, probably. They had some interesting dessert I want to check out next time. & a lot of the food looked really good.
Really good tibetan food. With the authentic food and performances.Tingmo was soft and momos were pretty decent as well.Really worth exploring this food
Incredible dining experience in Sukhumvit 33, Phrom Phong. From the moment we walked into this Tibetan restaurant, we were transported to the highlands of Tibet. The decor is authentically Tibetan, with prayer flags draped across the ceiling and beautiful thangka paintings adorning the walls in. It's not just a restaurant, it's a cultural experience. They have meditation rooms, and live Tibetan music & performances. (Follow their Instagram for the updates.)The menu offers an impressive selection of traditional Tibetan dishes. We started with Gyurma (blood sausages made with yak or sheep's blood in Tibetan cuisine) which were hands down the best I've ever had.And for the main course, we had Momos. I recommend to enjoy them with a little extra salt & their seasoned chillies to have exquisitely spiced (if you're a spicy lover). And we tried the Shakshuka Thukpa (noodle soup). Both dishes were hearty, comforting & a true delight for the taste buds. And we had Tingmo for our extra guilty carb pleasure, the softest cute buns in town I must say.Last but not least, we completed our dinning experience with Su-cha (Tibetan butter tea). I'm not gonna write about it. You better try it by yourself. The owner is from Tibet. He's warm, attentive & resourceful. The staffs understood English & can communicate really well too.To be summarized, this restaurant offers not just fantastic Tibetan food, but also a lovely cultural experience. They also have a souvenir shop at the entrance where you can buy Tibetan scents, beads, sweets, clothes & other traditional delicacies.Either you're a fan of Tibetan cuisine or looking to try something new, I highly recommend this place. I'd totally go back again.
My first time in a Tibetan restaurant. I ordered a beef noodle soup. Tasty. But there are other VERY interesting dishes like lamb. Unfortunately is an order for 3 people and I was alone. Next visit thenDecoration is beautiful. The place is big. They organize different activities on Sundays. Meditation is one of them. A Tibetan Monk was invited tonight to be part in the meditation group. Ask beforehand about this.Staff great, very nice, as well as owners/managers. Place to come back
Wonderful food and wonderful service! Really nice restaurant! One of the best restaurant that I have tried in Bangkok! Very delicious! It surprised me because every plate was so delicious! Definitely will come back soon!
I went here for the lunch. The restaurant is nice decoration. The good is perfect ingredients. The price is reasonable.Staff is every friendly. If you are looking to try Tibet food. Here is a nice place.
The Tibetan food was great. Originally, the food are served with little to no spice and quite bland for me. For people who love spice and more intense flavor you can add the chili oil and salt to your taste but the simplicity of the dishes really shows the essence of Tibetan foods. The menu is not that many but what's great is that there are meat type options (and also vegetarian option) for most of the menus. The atmosphere was really Tibetan, the decoration and the songs really contributed to the overall experience. There are also free-to-play pool tables and a cocktail bar. The owner was so nice, talk with him and he will teach you Tibetan.
