Das Kagges war eine Empfehlung aus der Michelin-App. Über BokaBoard einen Tisch reserviert (was auch wirklich nötig war). Ich steh auf das Konzept wenn man den Köchen bei der Arbeit zuschauen kann (hatte einen Platz an der ‘Bar’). Ich habe mich für die Top 4 mit Weinbegleitung entschieden (hab es mir einfach gemacht). Zum ersten gang gab es dann gleich einen ‘Orange’ Wein, welcher Erinnerungen an das Canvas in BKK geweckt hat (hier waren wir zumindest im ersten Durchgang nicht zufrieden), aber der hier war ok. Nach dem ersten gang hatte ich Gesellschaft von einer Dame aus der Ukraine, welche seit 8 Jahren in Singpore lebt und auch als Digital Nomad lebt, allerdings mit Ziel Europa. War eine interessante Unterhaltung mit Austausch diverser Apps und Erfahrungen. Der zweite Gang waren dann diverse Bohnen (hätte meiner Mutter nicht geschmeckt, da es Ihr wohl zu knackig gewesen wäre). Dritter Gang war dann Kabeljau und Gang Nummer 4 war Schwein. Ich habe dann noch Blum-Pudding mit Plums und Blum Sorbet als Nachtisch bestellt. Alles in allem war alles sehr lecker und der Service war sehr nett.

Unengaged staff, food that looks good but really doesn’t taste that much. To these prices you can find a lot better food and service elsewhere. Had to wait 45 minutes to even get some bread to eat, let alone the first course.

I loved how we could see the chefs in action as we awaited our meal. The smoked cabbage and pork were my favourite! The addition of the trout roe in the cabbage dish added a nice kick of flavour that was just incredible. I only wish the portion sizes would be a bit bigger, as the dishes were devoured in a matter of seconds. Overall, a really nice experience with top notch service 😊
Definitely a rising star in the Michelin scene and destined for greatness, Kagges gives you masterfully prepared dishes made from the finest Swedish ingredients money can buy.The restaurant itself can only be described as cosy but with an incredible buzz. It feels almost like a house party but with incredible gourmet dishes thrown into the mix. Sit up at the counter for a front seat view of the chefs in action. They also happen to be incredibly funny so I would definitely advise this.We took the chefs choice menu with the wine pairing which is good enough value for money however there is no dessert included in the four courses on offer. The staff were all incredibly friendly and accommodating. The chefs as mentioned before were great fun to watch and speak to displaying a true passion for their craft. Each course was explained to us in great detail outlining the ingredients and sources. However the wine pairing lacked this same attention and the wines / beer was given to us with no explanation or reason as to why they were chosen for that particular course.The food itself was exquisite. The smoked cabbage was mind bogglingly good. An incredibly creative dish which was a definite highlight. The final two course were good and the ingredients top quality however they did not wow as much as the cabbage. The flavours were pleasant but not as complex.All in all Kagges is definitely a must visit. This place is truly destined for greatness and cannot be missed
What an amazing dinner! 10/10. I had the 4 course tasting menu, it was incredible. I added in the apple dessert, a must try. The staff was super friendly and down to earth. It was great to sit at the bar and watch the talented chefs work. You have to eat here!!
Really great service, excellent food. We went for the four dishes picked by the restaurant and the matching wine. It was delicious. We treated our Swedish friend who was also blown away. Highly recommended!

Lovely relaxing place, great Swedish food. Great service and had the chance to meet both Chefs. Go 2 people at least and try all the food menus. It worth it. (Ask for alcohol pairing)
Wonderful dinner experience!The menu was delightful and the wine pairing perfectly executed.The open kitchen let you see the cooking and the team is alway open to discuss the product and explain you the food story a little longer. More over they easily succeeded to accommodate the menu to a pregnant person.The tjockbulla potatoe bread and smoked butter was insane!
The ambience and food were both really good. We really weren't as big of a table cover as we should have been. I didn't realize it was a order multiple plates/person style menu and it was our first time eating swedish food. But the server was extremely nice to us, still gave us a really good understanding of what we were eating and the context behind the dishes. Would highly recommend for the ambience, food, and service.
Overall the food quality and quantity doesn’t match its price.Highlight: Beef tartar. The aged beef paired perfectly with black truffle, and the cut of the beef was without any bit of tendons. The texture got neutralized by the crisps and cream cheese. It was the best beef tartar I had in Stockholm, but it could not save the whole menu.Worst Dish: The duck. The duck skin was very soggy and the meat was super dry. The side root was hard as rock.The other dishes were plain. You can feel that they were trying to be creative, but unfortunately it didn’t end up in good results. For example, matching crayfish with cheese beans stew is creative, but the type of cheese they chose was overwhelmingly strong and you cannot taste the original flavors of the crayfish.Furthermore, I was barely full after the dinner. Unfortunately with this price range, you can find a bunch of better places in Stockholm.
Very nice experience. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Food was creative and delicious, but not as extraordinary as one might expect. Since it has an open kitchen, your clothes will smell afterwards.
I went to Kagges for dinner on a whim - and realised that I was lucky to get a table on short notice.The food is delicious with surprising and complex flavours. Two examples stand out in particular: the bread with smoked butter which was like eating the smoothest peaty Scottish whisky I've ever had; and the duck with a puree of delicate celeriac topped with tasty gravy.The best part was to see the staff in the kitchen and serving: the place has great staff who care about making delectable food that's served and presented with care and pride.
Nice place with interesting food! We had a nice dinner which was fairly priced, tasty, interesting and peculiar! We sat in the bar where we had the opportunity to watch the chefs doing their things! It is recommended if you may require a different approach in fine dining!
