This is such an underrated gem where you can indulge in great chinese food at fair prices. Went in evening, it was largely quiet as is more of a morning to noon food centre. Basically had all the space to myself. Ordered beef noodles (added big intestines) and their signature dumplings in red chilli oil. The latter was a hit, and the former was not shabby at all too. Will def return for other dishes like the cold chicken noodles and wife wanna try the xiaolongbaos too. Def recommend people to come long as dun become too crowded for me!
Had the 原味牛肉面. $5.50. Good taste, beef and noodles both cooked well and portion is good for the price. Nice hawker centre to eat too, clean airy and bright.
Update (Dec 2023): they've moved out of Marine Parade to Bedok Reservoir. The one at Marine Parade is a different owner and isn't as good.Very legit dumplings and sizhuan noodles. Don't need to go Din Tang Fung. $5 for a bowl of fresh chinese la mian with minced meat or beef or delicious dumplings. Fried dumplings are amazing too.
Was okay. Had spicy pork intestine + pork noodles, guotie and xlb. Everything was mostly quite normal only leh. Not worth the hype to travel there, could consider eating again if i stayed very nearby and had a craving that had to be sated now now.
Beef noodles with a clean savoury broth. However I didn’t think it was worth $5.5, as there were only 4-5 small pieces of fatty/cartilage and 1 piece of vege 🙂
Tried one of their spicy lamians, xlb and guotie.Lamian: I find it hard to rate this highly because it was definitely not what I'm used to - little oil, lighter in body, and not very salty. But although not salty,it was not bland in flavour either. Just not what im used to. Noodle texture was ok. Spice was very bearable, almost on the mild side.Xlb: honestly not great. Skin too thick and not particularly standout.Guotie on their own were alright, with the chicken rice-like chilli they provide plus vinegar and ginger, was good. Count your guotie, they gave us one less by accident.Might come back to try other dishes as nothing was amazing but nothing put me off enough to avoid this place. Would probably not travel for it, tho.
Located at neighborhood coffeeshop. Love the Dan Dan mian here. Affordable at $4.50 and portion is generous. The flavour is good. They also have other offerings that are good. The dumpling 🥟 are famous too.
Tried the 锅贴 (fried dumpling) and 小笼包 (steamed dumpling) for lunch today, and was very satisfied with it!💰 at $5 - $5.50 for the dumplings, they are rather affordable for the quality presented!🥟 the fried variant was just the right amount of crispiness, coupled with a generous serving of filling and soup to make it really great!🥟 the steamed variant had a really soft layer of skin which made it very palatable!⏰ because I went at 11am, there wasn’t a crowd or queue and I only had to wait ~5 minutes for my food to be doneDefinitely something I will come back for, love my dumpling meals! 👍🏻
4.5 stars. Noodles are most probably hand made because it taste nothing like the usual noodles you get outside. I ordered the sichuan dan dan noodles, $4.50, it is awesome filled peanut flavour , if you are a peanut lover, you will love it, I can’t really finish the gravy though as it gets a bit “jelat” towards the end of the bowl. I also ordered the fresh pork pan fried dumplings, $5.50 , they were totally filled with delicious meat, prepare to be really filled because every mouthful is really “meaty”. For the price, this is really a good find.
Dan dan mian quite nice! Can taste the peanut. Guotie not too crispy. Intestine shiok. Crispu pork pao a bit dry but enjoyable. Noodles quite nice and can tell handmade. Overall if in the area worth a try!
Here’s how I take my fried dumplings. I bite off the top to reveal the meat then pour in chilli sauce, Chinkiang vinegar (yellow label) and only Chinkiang, top with shredded ginger, and pop the whole thing in one go. Omg damn shiok. Noodles also shiok. I came here because of the 8days review and I am not disappointed, even after queuing and waiting 25min for my food. Shiok.Returned again with family and ordered the usual. Added dumpling noodle soup, broth was light yet nice. The crispy pork bun was slightly doughy so we’re not too keen on that. Both bowl of noodles were too soft this time. Not al dente. Overall still shiok lah.
Cheap and good Chinese food! The 拉面 is springy and soft.Spicy wanton is tasty and not too over powering.卤肉拉面 meat is soft and tender, complimented with savoury soup.Definitely worth coming over to try the food!

Recht guter kleiner Food-Market, welcher sauber ist und eine Gute Auswahl hat. Besser als der auf der 84.
