‘The Private Room’ ist so etwas wie das First Class Terminal der Lufthansa in Frankfurt. Das Lounge Flagship der Singapore Airlines. Im Gegensatz zur LH kommt man aber in den Private Room nur mit einem First Class Ticket. Bei der LH kommen auch HONs in das FCT (auch wenn diese Eco fliegen 😀 ). Der Private Room ist neu im Terminal 3. Es gibt auch einen separaten Eingang für First Class Passagiere am Changi Airport (dem Taxifahrer bescheid geben, damit er die richtige Abneigung nimmt). Diesen Service können auch PPS-Members in Anspruch nehmen. Beim Check-In bekommt man dann die Einladung für den Private Room. Das Angebot wurde gegenüber der früheren verbessert. Es gibt jetzt zum einen mehr Auswahl an Speisen und es gibt jetzt auch Ruheräume (und natürlich auch Duschen). Die Qualität der Speisen und der Getränke ist hier besser als im FCT bei der LH in FRA. Einziges Manko hier, ist die zu niedrig eingestellte Klimaanlage (was aber typisch für Asien ist). Man muss zudem aufpassen das man nicht schon zu beduselt in den Flieger steigt (das Personal ist äußerst Großzügig beim einschenken).
Update 2024. Was excited to see the renovated lounge. What a disappointment on so many levels. The food was plain without any flavour, awful selection, worse than many basic lounges. There was no longer any thrill to dine here. The experience of a luxury meal in a luxury setting is gone. The lounge was clean and modernised but also very plain. The waiters weren’t even busy but showed a lack of interest being there, no sign of the professional service you would expect from a private room, who the heck is doing the hiring. The whole experience feels like the result of significant cost cutting. The experience of the private room used to be a key factor in flying SQ first but the product now is a let down. Poor service/wait staff, low quality food and selection and plain setting is now on par with any other basic lounge. On a few positives, the lounge was empty and quiet with lots of room, the shower facilities were clean and modern.Update November 2021. There is currently no Private Room as they are renovating their lounges. Currently for Singapore Airline first class or suites passengers you're getting a very reduced service. Queues at the first class check in. Packed makeshift first class lounge so full of people during covid that it's more sensible not to stay too long. Food menu and service in their current temporary facility is limited and not up to Private room standards. Apparently the new facilities will open next year but I wish Singapore Airlines would have given us more updates about what was going on before we booked our flights. They should be charging less for their tickets when there is such a reduced quality offering. Looking forward to the new lounge
Had the opportunity to visit SQ TPR back in Dec 2023 and it was a fantastic experience.The exclusivity away from the busy FC lounge calls for some quiet and private time in this space. You will get to enjoy ala carte fine dining service for your experience here in TPR.We especially love the fact that there are also sleeping rooms that you can book for 2h to take a quick nap before your flight. The shower here is top notch as there are great amenities and it is very spacious as well.There are many great options that you can try for each meal here in TPR. Special shout-out to the seafood paofan and the lobster pasta. Oh, and not to forget, do try the Taittinger champagne too, one of the best out there.Will be back again for sure if opportunity permits. Till then.
The new Private Room is a significant upgrade from the old one. The design, service, and dining options have all been greatly improved. I particularly enjoyed the comfort of the sleeper rooms and the luxurious showers. Overall, it was an excellent experience, enhanced by the beautiful window views. ❤️

So, this new Private Room is amazing and quite a step up from the old one. The design is gorgeous, tye service amazing, also the food and beverage offering has improved quite a bit compared to the old one.Service was outstanding and I loved the option to take a nap in one of their sleeper rooms.Showers felt luxurious and were very clean. Overall great experience.The only downside is that the lounge now faces the interior of the airport and the windows are not well insulated, actually have gaps between them, so that a lot of noise enters the lounge.
With SQ, your travel journey starts from the time you reach the check in counter. Check in was easy, lounge is conveniently located near to check in counter. We entered the lounge at 1am and still had access to the entire range of menu from breakfast to dinner - chef is very versatile. Every dish he cooked was amazing.Fyi TPL closes between 2am to 5.30am.
The revamped Singapore Airlines lounge for travellers on their First Class. Small and no windows but they make up for it with gorgeous interiors. Very well designed and the service is impeccable too
Second visit to the private room, but first visit after the renovation. Everything is top notch, it is so exclusive that only those passengers who takes first/suites on Sq flight can have the access. Service is impeccable, F&B are also amazing. The decoration is very modern and stylish.The most private and exclusive lounge and boarding experience. I was one of the only a few passengers in the lounge, it is just so quiet, relax and exclusive.
The newly renovated private room was an amazing lounge experience. Being an exclusive lounge within Singapore Airlines’ first class lounge, the room is intimate with few passengers. All of the staff are so friendly, genuinely nice and go out of their way to make you feel welcome and at ease. The lounges and dining chairs are very comfortable and many universal power points and usb points. There’s a relaxation area that can be booked, 2 rooms with recliners, 2 with beds. The bathrooms are spacious, spotless and super aesthetic.
Absolutely loved our experience in both the First Class Lounge and the Private Room. Singapore Airlines absolutely go out of their way to treat everyone very well and we were no exception. Thank you one and all and to our flight attendants who were so kind and gave us a hand drawn card!
Access to this exclusive lounge is only available for Singapore Airlines suites and first class and passengers, very few guests here compared to the regular first and business class lounge.Great food and high quality wines / champagne. Good service and our glasses never got empty before being topped up with more Dom Perigon. If Dom Perigon is not your favourite it's also possible to have some Piper-Heidsieck Rare Millésime 2006 from the regular first class bar. Very relaxing place to spend a few hours, but not very much to do except eating and drinking. Loved the Ben and Jerry's icecream available as dessert.The lounge interior is getting a bit old, but renovations are coming soon.
