Mit ein Grund in das SO zu gehen, war das Loft. Es ist gar nicht so einfach an an einem Feiertag (+Sonntag) in Wien ein Restaurant zu finden das offen hat. Also einfach ein Hotel mit einem guten Restaurant gesucht ;). Wir hatten den Tisch auf 20:30 gebucht und bekamen einen schönen Fensterplatz. Es waren aber auch nicht alle Plätze besetzt. Wir haben uns für das 5 Gänge Menü entschieden allerdings ohne die begleitenden Weine, da wir lieber eine Flasche Rotwein aussuchen wollten. Die 5 Gänge waren etwas ein Fake, da der Gruß aus der Küche auch als Gang gezählt wurde (das hatte ich so auch noch nie). Als einen Apperetiv einen Negroni. Der stellte sich dann gleich als erste Herausforderung für das Personal dar. Denn er kam nicht und wir waren schon zweiten Gang. Hier erfolgte dann unsere erste ‚Beschwerde‘. Noch vor dem Negroni kam schon der nächste Gang, welcher aber wieder mitgenommen wurde und neu kam als wir mit dem Negroni fertig waren 😉 (der Negroni ging dafür dann aber aufs Haus 😀 ). Dann hatten wir erst einmal noch zwei Rotweine probiert (der zweite passte dann auch). Beim Dessert gab es dann den nächsten kleinen Fopah, wir hatten zwei verschiedene bestellt aber beides mal den gleichen bekommen. Nach dem Hinweis gab es dann wieder eine sehr freundliche Entschuldigung und das zweite Dessert (was sehr lecker war und ein verpassen sicherlich sehr schade gewesen wäre). Als Degistive gab dann noch Walnussbrand und Zirbe (auch sehr lecker und vorher noch nie davon gehört). Zum ‚Trost‘ gab es zur Rechnung auch noch einmal zusätzliche Gebäck.
Auch wenn sich das ganze vlt. etwas Unzufrieden anhört, war es ein sehr gelungener Abend, was auch an dem Service lag, welcher die ganze ‚Probleme‘ souverän meisterte und trotzdem sehr viel Spass mit uns hatte. Sie kam sogar später extra noch an die Bar zu uns um uns noch ein paar Tips zu Wien zu geben.
The view and the vibe is superb. Yes, you pay the price for it but it was still worth it. The cocktails were decent but not the best I have tried. Staff was knowledgable.
We had dinner, it was very expensive but really damn good, the service was friendly, the food was very, very good, I cooked “top of the box” myself, and what was there was excellent… thank you for the lovely evening

Not only the ambience and the views are amazing. The food is outstanding. We went for a la carte in the evening and every single dish was delicious. Our waiter was very attentive and charismatic. Thank you for such a nice evening.
It was quite a special night, the atmosphere is very pleasant, unquestionably the attention of the restaurant employees was very phenomenal, but personally I expected a little more regarding the taste of the food, very good but not incredible. going to the restaurant bar seems like a great option. In general, an excellent place to spend a pleasant moment.
The cocktails are better than the food, the views are the best in town, and the service is great. Let me explain.The cocktails are innovative, quirky, delicious and served by entertaining and communicative bartenders while you’re enjoying the views of the city.The food was a bit disappointing; there wasn’t enough butter for the amount of bread served.The carrot trilogy was not perfectly paired with the cheese -you could not taste the carrots at all.The gnocchi were delicious but the vegetarian options so limited (cauliflower is the only option on the menu) that I had to ask to have the gnocchi without the fish.The Vorarlberg cheese plate includes Parmesan (Italian cheese).The service was attentive and entertaining.
We went for drinks and dessert at their bar. View is spectacular. Nice for sitting and enjoying the view. Cheesecake was really good. Vine was fair price. Hope to be back for some more food and restaurant experience.
The waitress needed to learn English, which caused a lot of confusion.She did not understandably explain what we needed to do and what she expected us to tell her. This caused us to ask her three times what she expected us to do next with the menu.After the initial experience with the waitress, we didn't have another conversation with her, and then everything went well. The food was excellent, in addition, the pairing of the wine with the dishes and also the guy who explained the wines to us was evident and open to questions, which was fun, altho the desert dish we changed and I'm not sure if the wine paring was correct to the dish we had.I would have scored 5 if the waitress had not given us such a confusing initial experience.
By far the best view in Vienna. Food and drinks were awesome! We sat at in the bar side and had the burger and prawns and shared the cheesecake. Everything was delicious and reasonably priced. The cocktails are a little expensive but beer and wine are much more reasonable. The atmosphere was very nice and overall great experience!
A good view of Wien city 😍😍. They don't have a lot of food choices in the menu but they have drinks. So good for snacks and refreshing drinks. And a bit pricey.
Impressive view of Vienna in a vibrating elegant bar atmosphere with great beats in the evening. The tasting menu and wine pairing are worth their money in combination with this expensive view. The service is friendly, but totally understaffed, so count with very long waiting times.
You most probably pay for the view. We booked their degustation menu in order to be seated by the window. The food was good, nothing spectacular, our main waiter was friendly and attentive. The lady bringing the food gave the plates on the table and that was it, no presentation of the dish as you may be used to in fancy restaurants.The restaurant is combined with the bar, thus you may expect a bit of the louder chill music. We tried the bar as well and if we could chose next time, we just go for their delicious cocktails.
