Neben dem Somtum ist auch das La Monita in der Gasse und laut Google ein Besuch wert. Also bin ich auch da einmal hin. Bestellt hatte ich die Tacos mit Zunge, eine kleine Quesedilla als Vorspeise, einen Mexikanischen Salat und einen Cocktail. Das ganze sah zwar nicht so aus wie auf den Bildern und kam auch nicht in der Reihenfolge wie man es erwarten würde (der Starter kam zum Schluß 😀 ). Die Tacos mit Zunge waren sehr gut (man konnte mit den Soßen noch etwas nachschärfen). Die Quesedilla mit New Zealand Short-Rips waren auch Top. Der mexikanische Salat war wohl durch das Dressing mexikanisch 😉 , aber auch gut. Top war der Cocktail mit Mango. Bei einem langen Aufenthalt sicherlich eine Wiederholung zur Abwechslung wert.
Food was okay, but not great....I have eaten in mexico plenty of times so i have a good idea what good mexican food taste like.....I would say they have the idea down, but the flavor and texture was off...prices did not match the food quality, which was average at best..service was good and the food came out sooner than expected..thier drinks are very pricey for a resturant...350-500baht for a mixed alcohol drink......they add a 10% service fee to the bill which was not expected...they need to stop charging a 10% service fee when one is not required.
One of the few decent Mexican restaurants in bangkok. It gets quite full, so you probably need reservations.The service was good and food and drinks are served quick.If you need a Mexican fix.... I guess this is the place.
I would recommend the restaurant. If you are looking for Mexican cuisine with a large selection, you will definitely find it here. The House Special Burrito (Billy Burrito) was rich and tasted very good. Not cheap, but worth the money.
Cute shop, staff take good care of and provide good service. We're not very good at Mexican food. I don't like the smell of spices. Personally, I think this restaurant is easy to eat. Cuban rice tastes like Nam Prik Ong.
I didn’t expect to find good quality tacos so far from Mexico but they are definitely here. A little on the expensive side, but that is normal for anything not Thai food in Bangkok.Most tacos were great while one in particular stood out as absolutely delicious - the braised beef special. The meat was so incredibly tender and flavorful.These were better than many tacos I’ve had in Northern California - they actually fry their corn tortilla here.Friendly staff and a fun, colorful interior made for a good dining experience. Great food overall. I look forward to coming here again. If you’re craving tacos, give this spot a try.
Really excellent Mexican food in Bangkok. We ordered loaded nachos and tacos, both were packed with flavor. The large nachos will feed two hungry people happily, but for the price I think they were a bit small. Tacos were hot and fresh. They give you a variety of different hot sauces to add to the tacos. Overall loved this spot and was incredibly pleased with the flavor of the food.
Generous portions and they taste good.The margarita was good too.Their burrito is huge, and might be more suitable for sharing rather than one person's meal.Service was quick. Food is on the pricier side but worth the money
Great food and ambience, a little on the pricey side but worth it. The LA fish tacos were the star - very well-seasoned and great balance of flavour and spice.Had a Pomegranate and flower tea drink which was also refreshing. Definitely would come back.
