I recently stayed at Novotel Bangkok Sukhumvit 4 and found my experience to be average overall. While the hotel has a decent location, I was surprised by the surrounding area, which was quite noisy due to the abundance of nightclubs. After a long day of exploring, the 10-minute walk from the BTS station to the hotel felt exhausting. The hotel service was just okay; I noticed that many amenities, such as slippers, toothbrushes, and blazers, were not provided in the room and had to be requested. The soundproofing in the room was inadequate, making it easy to hear noise from neighboring rooms. Additionally, I struggled to control the water temperature in the shower, which often fluctuated between too hot and too cold.Customer service was generally satisfactory, with a few friendly staff members, but it didn’t leave a lasting impression. Overall, I would rate my stay a 7 out of 10 due to these factors. If you’re looking for a more peaceful stay with better amenities, you might want to explore other options in the area.
Excellent hotel in a great location. Food and drinks great at the Red Square roof top with fantastic views. Friendly staff. Rooms great, comfortable and spacious. Clean throughout. Just the prices of food and drink are a little high, but acceptable. Presentation and quality of food is excellent and appealing. WiFi excellent. Overall fantastic experience.
I recently stayed at the Novotel Sukhumvit Soi 4 for one night, and it was fantastic. The staff was welcoming and efficient, making the check-in process smooth. The room was spacious, clean, and had a comfortable bed.The highlight was the buffet, which had a wide variety of dishes from fresh sushi to local Thai delicacies. Just incredible food! The hotel also boasts an excellent fitness center and a rooftop pool with stunning views. The location is great with major attractions and shopping districts nearby making it ideal for exploring Bangkok.
I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Novotel Bangkok sukhumvit and I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. The entire staff exuded kindness and professionalism, creating a welcoming and pleasant atmosphere throughout our stay. Every member of the team, from the front desk to housekeeping, demonstrated a high degree of dedication and attention to detail, making our experience truly memorable. The dining experience at the hotel was nothing short of spectacular. The meals were diverse, delicious, and prepared with the freshest ingredients. Whether it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the culinary quality exceeded our expectations. In summary, the Novotel Bangkok soi 4 offers unparalleled service, a remarkable team, and outstanding cuisine. Many thanks to the entire staff for making our stay unforgettable.
A great stay--the rooftop bar and pool area was lovely and calm when we were there and the rooms were very nice. We didn't get breakfast but we did go the international lunch buffet one day which was 20/10, made even better by being discounted for residents. The staff there were lovely and couldn't help you enough. Tried to come back when we passed back through Bangkok on our return but it was sold out - I'm not surprised.
The rooms were nice and clean. The breakfast was delicious and also they changed the options for the buffet every day!! The infinity pool is just beautiful
Room was neat and clean. Bed was comfortable. Washroom was clean. Staff behavior was good. Swimming pool has infinity city view.On breakfast, they could've offered more variety.Room didn't have dental kit, slippers etc readily available inside room. One has to call to housekeeping for these items.
Amazing hotel , locating in the heart of city, close to Nana station. It has nice rooms and Ibis styles hotel is also nearby, the breakfast is simply amazing , they serve different cuisines, including both vegetarian and non vegetarian. They serve 8 types of omelettes, the roof top has a bar and awesome view of the city.
Located in the middle of nightclubs and full of hooks on the street even in front of the hotel in fact everywhere. My kids are scared of walking down the street because they haven’t seen something like before and we found there’s some guests came up the rooms with those hooks. I was wonder if they allowed. I’m disappointed with my mistake booking for myself and my kids. Though the room is good and staffs are friendly but too busy at night and not recommend if you’re coming with kids.
Beautiful, clean hotel. The rooftop pool and views are awesome. Rooms are spacious, modern. Right in the heart of nana plaza. No noise at night and you sleep great. People working there are kind and helpful. My only negative is shower barely got warm
Good location. Clean room, perfect for one or two nights in Bangkok. Friendly staff. Very nice pool in the upper floor but not enough sunbeds for guests. Pool closes early, 18:00.
Nice hotel in a very central area in Sukhumvit. The staff is very friendly, the rooms are newly renovated and well equipped. The location is extremely good if you are looking for an active nightlife. You should visit the bar on the rooftop, the view is amazing.
Enjoyed the stay there. The best thing about this hotel is its central location that is close to everywhere. Staff was nice, liked the breakfast too. Rooms were modern but small. Bed was comfortable. Very mesmerising view at the rooftop at night with a swimming pool (which is most of the time closed). One thing that bothered me there; the hotel is carpeted and during my stay there i never found the carpet was cleaned once! it was stinking most of the time which was very disturbing…
Stayed there twice when in Bangkok, very central location close to everywhere , roof top pool with a stunning view that turns into a bar after 7pm. Rooms are very comfortable , breakfasts are delicious . Friendly staff. Will definitely come back when I'm in Bangkok in the future.
Good clean room. Good service. Only the blanket on the bed was to thin. With airco on it is too cold but still 5 star. When you walk outside in the evening it is full of hookers so for family with young children its better to go another novotel.
This hotel benefits mostly from its location which is convenient to transportation and of course in the heart of one of bangkok's central entertainment districts catering to foreign tourists. Certainly some staff members are lovely and brilliant but many seem more interested in practicing English in preparation for their next job rather than taking care of the tasks at hand. I will conclude by saying that it is important to check your final bill because I'm more than one occasion I was presented with an incorrect invoice whilst rushing to check out. I don't think there is anything particularly suspicious about that but I do suspect that the hotel billing and management software is not up to par or staff is not properly trained in its use. I believe I'm correct only because a common scene at the front desk is two or three workers staring at the same screen to sort out a check-in or check out or other situation with one guest.
Only issue was a full non smoking property, so had to go down to smoking area everytime. Awesome breakfast. Close to Nana Plaza, 5 mins walk to the metro. Very convenient. Good, helpful, polite and welcoming staff
I like Novotel, spacious room and great service. But this hotel is an exception. The room is dirty, the carpet looks like it has not been cleaned for months. When I asked the cleaner to clean the room, nobody showed up. When I reported the issue to the front desk, not even a sorry. The management is the horrible. Worst experience in Bangkok.
Good hotel, free parking & clean room..Check in staffs were welcoming, room was not ready even when I try checking in at 4. Waited around 20 mins. Could have provided me water/ drinks while waiting, but not a big deal..Room was modern & clean, just what I am expecting. They provided you with a smart TV, which you could directly link YouTube from your phone, rare to see that in Asia Hotel, loved it..Didn’t have chance to try out the food or pool, will be doing it next time
Great hotel, nice room but the wifi is terrible! Just makes the whole stay nonsense since you cant take any calls from your room despite all the money you're paying. Better off somewhere else / airbnb.
My new fave place in Bangkok.Rooms are smaller than many others but the location is prime.Rooms are clean, great wifi and the buffet breakfast is excellent.Best of all, a large 7/11 convenience store is directly across the hotel.
The staff were attentive and the hotel was well maintained and stylish! My room had comfortable beds and the blackout curtains helped me sleep well. The restaurant was expensive for the Thai food (280B for cashew chicken + rice) but the European food was standard price (300B for croque monsieur + chips) and tasty. We especially liked the skybar that opens in the evening, it had a great view! However, the staff started packing away at about 10:30pm even though the sign for the bar said it closes at 1am. It would have been nicer if they gave us notice of this.
Very centrally located - lots of restaurants and nightlife around. Excellent staff - friendly and helpful. Cleaning of room and bathroom is on regular basis.Wonderful Experience
What makes the real value of this hotel is its rooftop swimming pool.Otherwise rooms are comfortable and of the right size. The air con works perfectly well and the soundproofing is quite good. The view from the room is also very enjoyable.Be aware that this hotel is located next to one of the red light district of Bangkok.
Absolutely not worth the money you pay for it. The area is fun and it’s well located if you want to party, but the lobby is pure chaos, the swimming pool was closed all my time there -without notice- and the drinks at the bar are mostly water and ice. Would not repeat.
Strategic location & able to access to all attractive locations & good restaurants. Undoubtedly, the staffs services is great and pleasantly. I will return to this hotel once travelling to Bangkok.
I've never had a bad service experience like this before. The staff ignored the order and also cancel our food without let us know anything. I needed to go ask for the food by myself at the restaurant kitchen after waiting and asking about our order for a long time until our food got cold. Please try to not come here at a busy period like lunch time. and they only accept cash. I strongly do not recommend this place.
Very central located in the nightlife area of Nana. The hotel is not as old (maybe 4-5 years). Rooms are spacious and the bed is very cosy and farang friendly (means not stone hard). The rooms seems to have good sound isolation and you here nothing from the outside. Little downside - the curtains do not close 100% therefore some light will sneak in the room at morning

Summary
Schu00f6nes Hotel mit gutem Service und einem leider etwas zu klein geratenem Pool (was wohl an der guten Aussicht liegt).
