We opted for the tasting menu and were thoroughly impressed! Every dish was exceptional, but the hor mok (otak otak custard) was a standout - truly delicious! A memorable dining experience with flavors that delighted throughout.

Come here for lunch on weekdays in June 2024Meals are both creative and deliciousIt’s a taste you can’t have in TaiwanThe price is high(Weekday lunch 3800+10%+7%=4446 yuan)But I still recommend gourmets to try it.Overall service is greatExcept for one female waiterNot willing to introduce the menuWhen serving rice, I carelessly sprayed the rice onto the menuAlso turning a blind eye and not cleaning up in timeOne star is missing because of this waiter

Most people don’t understand the food, but the sauces are really rich in flavor! Only the music in the store is low-frequency and monotonous, much like music chanting sutras, which makes people want to finish eating and leave quickly. The 1/1 special meal without wine will cost NT$5,200/person. It’s not unpalatable, but most people really can’t afford the price (but maybe gourmets can, the taste is just a personal comment)

Too expensive for what you get. One river prawn with two sections of red pomelo meat for 1750 thb. We ordered one soup, the aforementioned prawn salad, one curry and one dessert, which set us back 5000+ thb. Water is also not complimentary. There are better value Michelin guide / bib restaurants around. The amuse bouche, complimentary desserts, welcome drink are a nice touch even though we had the ala carte menu, but the overall value is still poor compared to what else is around.

Perfect night at paste! The food was amazing and is the perfect interpretation of Thai food in fine dining. The service was great and very welcoming. The atmosphere is very cozy and classy. The drinks were very special.

An exceptional fine dining experience. I tried their tasting menu which had a range of delicious options. Absolutely beautiful presentation and service was stellar. I would definitely repeat. I recommend a seat in one of their window booths so you can watch the busy Bangkok bustle as you enjoy the fine taste of Paste.

Thai fine dining tasting menu, which was done very nicely and reasonably priced. Atmosphere is very nice for a nice quiet lunch and lost seats have plenty of privacy. Service was top notch as well. Definitely worth trying. Will come back again for dinner sometime.

Paste is a culinary experience. The decor is stylish and service excellent that creates a calm and inviting ambience. It helped that I had the window table too. In presentation, the many various dishes that ensued were both colorfully attractive and innovatively crafted. Admittedly I did not catch all the ingredients as they were narrated. In taste, their flavours complex and bold, but perfectly balanced. I can taste the sheer passion and love that went into each plate. I highly recommend this Michelin-starred experience! Paste takes Thai recipes to new heights!

To be honest, the food is somewhat average, esp given the price tag. Yes there were some wow dishes, but after a several courses, the curry theme appeared little too often to my liking. The lobster dish the chicken appetizer, and the fish are my favourites. Service can be a little lacking on some occasions, esp when the restaurant is busy but I love the ambience and decor. The seating does appear a little tight, esp around larger groups. Good to try once but given the price point, I don't think I'd go back.

A nice place for lunch and dinner . I have a table near the window looking at central world. The dishes was more to Thai cuisine then Laos. Small bites with good presentation. I enjoy the beef curry very much. The place is a little over price for the ingredient they use. Service was good only a little language barrier here and there. Over all they are still attentive and friendly .

Went there during vegetarian period, and ordered amfew.dishes. On the food, both the salad and curry are superb. The cocktails are also strong and flavorful. We were seated in the curved seating facing the Central World, it was quit private and cozy. I heard that lamb is good, but did not order during this time.On the service side, very attentive, but.well received on recommendation, but at the deep level. Kinda expect more the price level...on par with good hotel restaurant.

Fantastic food. We went for a tasting menu and every dish was so enjoyable we had nothing to fault. With tasting menus, there is always a risk that one or two of the items may not be that enjoyable but we loved everything. All the dishes had such a perfect balance between sweet, sour, spicy and savory and ingredients were so fresh. Beautiful plating. The slowcooked beef rib and duck curry were AMAZING. One of the best freshly made curry we had in a while. Also loved how they prepared two different types of rice to go with the curry. Wine pairing was also well executed. It is Thailand so wine will always be on the expensive side than in Europe for what it is but they featured reputable producers from mainly France and Austria. The pairing worked wonderfully. Even the sour pork soup, difficult to pair, worked wonderfully with a Macon-village Chardonnay. The wine pairing price was higher than the food but for us, it was well worth the overall experience.Downside is, yes, the restaurant is located inside a mall. The mall closes at 10pm so, if you leave the restaurant past 10pm, getting out of the mall can be a bit of a maze. The layout of the restaurant is a bit tricky if you want to have the best dining experience. The right corner tables with the booths are amazing. Best seats in the house. The second are the corner seats to the left but it only works for larger groups of 4 or more with a view to the kitchen. But the center seats are a bit of a disaster if you get it...dimly lit, in the traffic of every server going to and back from the kitchen isn't great. They could install some partitions or something to make the center seating area a bit more cozy and private maybe. Where you sit at this restaurant will really change your dining experience from amazing to ok.

Well, I wish i can give it a better rating but nothing stands out from this dining experience. The setting was inside a shopping mall and the decors inside seems a bit out of date. Heck, if the foods is good, i wouldn’t mind eating it in a dark damp gutter. The greeting and table service seemed lacking and unprepared. I have waiters reached over without announcing while in middle of a conversation.3 of us had set dinner menu and my wife ordered an entree of duck. The only thing in the set menu stood out was the salad but everything else seemed to be just ordinary and mediocre. I am not a professional food critic or having expansive food tasting experience, but nothing during the dinner menu will bring me back.Oh… the duck. It was one of the most expensive and overdone duck we have tasted. SamWoo roast duck tastes well better than this and 1/4 cheaper…Overall, in a city where you can find great foods, this is definitely not the place to try. Of course, after couple bottles of wine, you might have different opinion. BTW, we didn’t have any alcohol.Nothing to see here….moving on….

Valiant effort from a Thai restaurant that has received a 1-star Michelin accolade, but missing the mark.Food is good, but in a great food city such as Bangkok, many of its dishes on the tasting menu could be just as easily from some other better priced alternatives in the city.Quality of ingredients does not seem to be above and beyond.Service is friendly, but there is a genuine disconnect from the staff of what it takes to be a fine dining establishment. Dish introductions are memorized, no conversations around personal taste profiles, wine selection is sparse (perhaps understandably so given wine pairing with Thai food is not the norm). If you do come, do not take the seat in the far right corner after entering the restaurant. That table lacks lighting, and all dishes served are visually impaired, a disservice to the otherwise tasty food.English is not the strength of the serving staff, which should be rectified if the intent is to be fine dining.A more conversational staff that is more naturally learned or inquisitive about dining hospitality and interacting with clients would be a massive plus too. Current staff is adequate, but to that extent only, nothing more, nothing less.All-in-all, slightly disappointed in what I believe is needed in the Thai food scene. Highly rated local fare venues.I hope more detail is taken into consideration and the Paste earns its stripes and more.A visit only for the curious.

Food is ok (southern crab curry is extra sweet with no taste of spiciness according to southern style). Plate decoration is not consistent for the same menu (some dishes look nice, some dishes does not) when serving to the same table. Wonder that chef is there to cook or someone else does it…. Table service is not up to standard of Michelin star restaurant. Waiter/waitress are friendly. Cashier has limited customer service mind. Surprisingly manager too with poor capabilities to handle feedback from customer.Overall, not satisfied for 4,300++ baht tasting menu from 1 star Michelin.

Absolutely phenomenal. They are quite meticulous, taking care in the small details. The dishes all had complexity and layers of flavour and texture. Their welcome appetizer was too small since it was so delicious. Portions for the other dishes were just enough. The shrimp pomelo salad was a bit misleading - we expected to see a salad but were served a large prawn with two big wedges of pomelo. It was delicious, but felt it shouldn’t be called a “salad”. The dessert bite at the end was just what we needed to round off the meal. Service was exactly what you’d expect in a nice restaurant. They had good timing between courses, the server was knowledgeable about the menu, they cleared plates quietly without interrupting conversation and they did what we wanted without even asking. The booths are also very comfortable and offer some privacy. If you want a spectacular dining experience, I would highly recommend Paste.

Beautiful restaurant with amazing food. We ordered a la carte as the tasting menu didn’t appeal to us as much. If ordering a la carte it is good value for the quality of food you get (and service). Would definitely go back next time we’re in Bangkok.

This should be the first time I am leaving a bad review and I feel compelled to do so as this is the worst service I had received in a Michelin starred restaurant ever. The level of attention and service provided by whom I assume to be the restaurant manager , as he was the only one wearing a jacket, was absolutely just lacking.I had to send back the cocktails twice as they were simply not done well. When feedback was given to the manager, what was communicated was they had followed the recipe they got and this is what they feel it should be.When the second drink was served, he only checked back after the end of the whole service and was not really interested in getting a feedback. As a michelin star restaurant, I feel that service should be part of the whole experience. I am not sure if this is a one off incident but I will not revisit this restaurant ever again and frankly, the manager gave me the impression that he is not interested to serve me again either. If you do have to visit this restaurant, stay away from the cocktails and mocktails. The food is good but not good enough to make up for the bad service experience, which is frankly a pity. There are plenty of good restaurants in Bangkok that offer you a really pleasant dining experience. Unfortunately, Paste is not one of them.

2 stars for foods and 3.5 stars for service. Decent decor and comfortable. The crab is really small, sold as mid size. (Refer to my pic). $$$+

Still excellent after all these years. Every texture, flavor and presentation had refinement and depth. Might argue about value but you'd be hard-pressed to find food like this elsewhere in Bangkok.

Wow! The atmosphere is beautiful. The service is spectacular. And the food! Beyond excellent. The hot and sour soup is my favorite! The yellow curry with crab is delicious. The scallops is a delight. This is a must have experience when visiting Bangkok. I’d definitely come again.
