Heute dann mal was aus heimischen Landen. Die Klosterscheuer ist unser ‘Vesperlokal’ (nein, wir essen dort schon ganz normal). Die Klosterscheuer war unser Zufluchtsort während Covid ;). Es gibt hier gutbürgerliche Küche. Auch viel lokales wie z.B. die frischen Forellen aus der Fischzucht Zordel. Es ist immer alles sehr lecker und man kann immer einen netten Plausch mit dem Personal halten. Inzwischen kommen wir zwar nicht mehr ganz so oft, aber man sieht es uns nach :).
Highly recommended restaurant. The beer (the Zwickl) was very good and I ate the best Maultaschen of my life here. The only thing I wouldn't recommend is the festive soup in terms of price/performance ratio.
A very nice restaurant. Food was very tasty. Service attentive, quick and very friendly.Unfortunately it was pretty cool in the restaurant when we were there.

I've heard that the Klosterscheuer restaurant used to be the the canteen of the monks before becoming the restaurant that is today.No wonder to be honest because I was amazed the first time when I've steped inside!Besides the warmth and professionalism of the staff with which I was greeted , the place is looking amazing. The building itself is well preserved and clean, perfectly combining the medieval era with our 21st century!The food was delicious and the portion well balanced with the price!Congrats to all the staff and management!I higly recommend the Restaurant Klosterscheuer for those who want a unique experience combined with great food and a pleasant atmosphere!
Super nice service and very good food ! Just miss a bit of salt and pepper in the steak but ok ! The quality was there! (DIVINE) Good for dinner don’t forget to arrive before 21h because the kitchen close that time so hurry up!! Super good and faster ! Wine very good variety ! 🆙👌🍺🍺
Good food and a nice atmosphere.It seems that many locals visit this place, the staff seems to know everyone. This is the only restaurant in town that is open on Monday, we were lucky to get a table without a reservation. The whole restaurant was full at 7 pm. Staff is very attentive and friendly. All but one who had little respect for my German not being fluent. Later this evening, service got a bit slow because the restaurant was full. Prices are a little high, a salad for 16 euros and a beer for 4.20 is a bit too much. Maybe because Bad Herrenalb is a luxurious "Kurort".In the end, we had a nice evening and we enjoyed the food.

The food was tasty, portions middling to small. They are very popular - you need to book - but it wasn't our best meal in the area
Nice location. We liked the salad and schnitzel.The käsespätzle were almost tasteless, lacking salt and a more interesting cheese. Could do with at least one vegan option.
This restaurant is now my top three for Badische and Swebische cuisine. Particularly fascinating the Weinbergschnecken as an aperitive, however the main course, was also highly recommendable. In the beautiful setting of Bad Herrenalb, the Klosterscheuer is a taste of the region.
